Quote# 4444

deep down inside you women and men know what i'm talking about don't you all act so innocent... man has a resonseability for the familys survival therefore man makes those decisions if both man and women are argueing over whats best for the family, whats best never happens... man is more likely to make the right decision than the women because that was what he was created to do.

I wonder how many women you've been with. You'd make a horrible husband. What an ungrateful sexist.

Widows that have successfully raised their children would like a word with you, Jackhole.

Since fundies insist on using Eve as a model for today's women, I'll counterattack by using Adam as a model for today's men. What decision did Adam make, you ask? He chose to take the apple from Eve's hand. He was not forced; he was not tempted. She offered it to him and he took it without any complaint or peep of protest, even though God had told him not to.

Besides, single mothers would disagree with you, Haylow. As would Mary, Jesus' mother.

T. McGee

So, in your world, the man has a responsibility for the family's survival, but if he fails and makes a bad decision, the wife just has to stand by and suffer (silently, too, because otherwise she'd be emasculating him).

Men have notoriously not taken responsibility for their families, and I really wouldn't want to trust the judgment of anyone who can't seem to understand "Stop pissing on the toilet seat." or "Put the seat down when you're done."

Wow, I'd hate to see how you behave in a relationship if you think that if there's any discussion at all between a man and a wife, it's automatically going to devolve into an arguement and nothing is ever going to get done.

Usually, what's best for the family is fairly clear and unless one half of the marriage is an idiot, they'll both see that. On the occassions its less clear, have an adult discussion and work out the answer TOGETHER, and make a decision TOGETHER.

As for man being more likely to make the right decision because he was created that way...yeah. Good luck with that mysoginistic ego of yours.
