You are following some bad examples.
Evolution is taught in schools because it is tax supported.
The origins of it have appear to have a lot to do with the overthtowing of monarcharys is the 18th and 19th centuries because the Bible says 'Honor Thy King'

Well, obviously it isn't a PhD in history, political science, or any branch of the biological sciences -- more likely in something like theology, which means he'll have a doctorate in brainwashing, so he can keep himself deluded professionally.

So says someone who refers to Kent Hovind as an authority. Tell me, are you planning to get that "bona-fide PHD" from Patriot U?
PhD material, no douibt.
Post hole digger.
Buuuullshit! The monarchies broke from the church which eventually led to democracies. Public education came even later and evolution in the curiculum is real recent .
Churchs are tax supported (more than just tax-exempt ) and shouldn't be as they are profiteering business.
Evolution is a science, and if you don't go past high school would involve less than four hours of class time.

LOLwut.
No seriously, this is beyond a leap of faith, this is just wild stabbing in the dark. I dare you, find any...ANY text on evolutionary biology, and point out anything about overthrowing monarchy. And as for "Honor Thy King," you guys don't do a lot of honoring Obama. Just sayin'.
@xyz: Behe, actually. You can call the man a liar, fraud, charlatan, fool, idiot, thick-skulled moron, disgusting opportunist and plenty more, but you can't say the bastard wasn't well-educuated.

I believe you. I believe you are a college student, and I also take your word that you are "planing [sic] to get a bona-fide PHD".
However, I doubt you are a student in a biology-related field, or even a science. I also doubt you are actually working towards that PhD, and that you will ever get it unless it is in some useless or inane field of study, like theology.
You, dear fundie, are the one following some bad examples.
And I am planning to become crowned as God-Emperor of the human Diaspora into Galactic Space.
Just as soon as I can build an army of unstoppable killer robots.
I'll probably start just after lunch.
Although I've got to do some laundry, so I'll probably leave it until tomorrow.
Afternoon.
Evening.
Maybe next week.
As soon as I organise my tool bench.
And buy some spanners.
And sort out the puncture on my bike.
