my daughter's husband has hemophilia which means when he cuts himself he bleeds a lot. sometimes he has to go to the emergency room for a small injury. the cat scratched him and he couldnt get the bleeding stopped. i just prayed and it stopped without having to go to the hospital!

Even though the bleeding stopped for a little while, he needs to go to the hosptial. My aunt was a bleeder, not a full hemophiliac, and we always had a hard time with her, even just going to the dentist for her was a pain in the ass.
I hope you daughter has her head in reality.

That's peachy keen, olivery2k, except that you don't have any evidence showing that the bleeding wouldn't have stopped sans prayer. Perhaps just a little extra time was required, not a prayer.
I know about Hemophilia, and a cat scratch would not need stitches. It would have be a deeper cut than a cat scratch. Also, if he had taken a dose of Blood Factor, his blood would have clotted.

It's this sort of behavior that leads to a funeral. Maybe next time you could do your praying on the way to the hospital.
If your gods actually cured his hemophilia, then that would at least be something.
Since hemophiliacs sometimes stop bleeding on their own, your god is little better than random chance.

My housemates and I are veeeerry good at sensing when it's time to go to the vet, and we get skittish. I sent one of my owners to the ER for stitches and disinfectant a few months ago. If one of my friends and I set upon your son-in-law, he'd still be feeling it, because your stupid faith healing DOESN'T WORK!

You should be out there, curing all those suffering from disease (including Teh Ghey), sorting out the problem of the world food shortage etc., etc.
There is considerable evidence that prayer and meditation and other mental techniques can impact the long-term health of the body. But that's only the body _of the person doing the praying_. Anyone else has to work with their own nervous system.
I call a minor scratch and weak but present clotting factors, and recommend factor replacement and appropriate exercise to strengthen the body and prevent internal bleeds. But I suspect that the man already knows this, as well as how to control a bleed.
