1) Atheism is the non belief in any god. Atheists do not believe they are god.
2) Atheists do not believe in a god or gods because of a lack of evidence. Of course I am not god.
3) Religion, much like team sports, aids cohesion and group survival. Religions split and form new groups because rational thought combined with ambiguous doctrine or belief keeps getting in the way. Rational thought aids survival by allowing a person to find better shelter, better food, better mates etc. Now that humans have the scientific method, large communities, sports, etc. religion is not necessary for survival.
4) Science is not truth. Science is a means of reliably figuring out the world around us.
5) I have no belief or faith in god. Not an absurd claim. This is truth.
6) ID or Creationism is not valid. This is also truth.
7) Nothing matters only if one chooses not to have anything matter. My life, my family, my career, and all the wonderful FSTDT posters, matter to me.

Here is someone impervious to argument - a person who can't even tell the difference between a philosophically valid (let alone compelling) argument and pure word salad (as long as it seems to back up the favored conclusion).
