I'm assuming that you're referring to- what the hell was her name again? Shit, I knew this- she was in Countdown with Harley Quinn. Holly? I want to say Holly. At any rate, she was Catwoman for a while, but Selina Kyle's now back in the role. DC has had many new gay characters introduced, and had some characters come out of the closet. As annoying as it is to see characters whose entire purpose seems to be "Lesbian!" (although I have seen some depictions of Renee and Kate that are well done, so I'll hold my tongue on this for now), I applaud them for doing so.

I can't describe how much loathing this statement fills me with. Even if we pretend that, for a second, homosexuality is a choice, why isn't it a choice that they can be free to make? Two people of the same gender can have a love as pure as a heterosexual couple, and there is nothing wrong with the lifestyle. Just because your stupid book says that something is wrong doesn't mean that we can force people to abide by it. This is not a theocracy.

To set the "Catwoman" lesbian record straight: Selina Kyle is still straight. Meanwhile, Holly Robinson, who took over for Selina briefly during the post-Infinite Crisis "One Year Later" event after Selina gave birth to her daughter Helena, was a lesbian. Selina is once again Catwoman after Holly took the blame for Selina killing the villain known as the Black Mask. Holly last appeared in the 51 issue limited series Countdown, paired largely with Harley Quinn and for a time Mary Marvel.

He might, though, mean Batwoman. The new Batwoman, Kate Kane, is a lesbian in an on again, off again, relationship with the current Question, Renee Montoya. Both are presently appearing in the miniseries Final Crisis: Revelations, along with the embodiment of god's wrath, the Spectre. He has yet to be called upon to kill them for being gay.

How interesting that the only two truly reformed gays in the world are people no one that you know. It's been proven that trying to repress or change your sexuality can be extremely unhealthy, and the few people that I've heard of that change are really just repressing themselves - some commit suicide, some give in and "become gay" again (even though they already were).
Do tell the secret - I'm sure all those people in Uganda whose lives are at risk because of their sexual orientation would be so happy to know that it's just that easy to change and stop the persecution.

Read 1 Corinthians, please, to learn about true love:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Isn't it just as hard to explain to a child why that man and that woman are kissing?
Just say something like "They love each other in a grown-up way."

Those two "reformed gays" in your church will probably self destruct sooner or later, or they were bisexual and are now sticking to one gender.
I have several encyclopedias, but that "BS theory" just seems stronger and stronger each time I do some research.
