Quote# 45692

Most people that believe in evolution don't even know the facts.
People are taught that humans evolving from monkeys is a fact and they believe it blindly. Evolution is a THEORY for a reason. While evolution happens on a very small scale (adaptation), humans did not come from monkeys.

Prove that the world is more than 10,000 years old.....You can't.

but I can prove it is not:

If mankind has been on earth over a million years, as the evolutionists tell us, then why do the records of their activity only go back a few thousand years. The evidence agrees with the Bible account, not with the evolutionists. Evolutionary theory is a myth. God created everything; the evidence clearly points to it. Nothing else can explain the mountain of evidence

Man, whom the evolutionists claim to have come into existence over a million years ago, is said to have "stopped evolving" 100,000 years ago. Why then do we not have at least 100,000 years of civilizations, cities, and human remains?

Where are all those half man/half ape fossils which should be abundant in the earth's soil layers? They don't exist. This is what is known as the "missing link" by evolutionists.

Although evolutionists state that life resulted from non-life, matter resulted from nothing, and humans resulted from animals, each of these is an impossibility of science and the natural world.

The supposed hominids (creatures in-between ape and human that evolutionists believe used to exist) bones and skull record used by evolutionists often consists of `finds' which are thoroughly unrevealing and inconsistent. They are neither clear nor conclusive even though evolutionists present them as if they were. Nine of the twelve popularly supposed hominids are actually extinct apes/ monkeys and not part human at all. The final three supposed hominids put forth by evolutionists are actually modern human beings and not part monkey/ ape at all. Therefore, all twelve of the supposed hominids can be explained as being either fully monkey/ ape or fully modern human but not as something in between.

The God of heaven created our world about 6,000 years ago. Then, about 2348 B.C., a gigantic Flood covered the earth. Keeping in mind that we are dealing with very ancient events, all the evidence can be reconciled with these figures.

Many believe in evolution for the simple reason that they think science has proven it to be a `fact' and, therefore, it must be accepted... In recent years, a great many people...having finally been persuaded to make a real examination of the problem of evolution, have become convinced of its fallacy and are now convinced anti-evolutionists."
-- Henry Morris, former evolutionist.

How can evolutionists believe in evolution when science seems to go against so much of it?

BAHAHAHAHA!!!! Henry Morris a former "evolutionist"??????? BAHAHAHAHA!!! Is this the same Henry Morris who founded the Institute for Creation Research? The same Henry Morris who said that the craters on the moon were damage from a battle between angels and demons? You could go to hell for violating the 9th commandment like that Dustin!!

Disproving one theory does not automatically prove another.

That's irrelevant, though, as you did neither. Did you get your 'science' from a shampoo advert?

"half man/half ape" I stopped reading at this. You want something half-man and half-ape? Go find me a town between LA and California. Man /is/ a great ape.

They've raised the age from 600 to 10000!
Do I hear 11000.
Agreement rate on the theory of evolution amonst scientists and NORMAL christians is over 90%.
Even if a scientic theory is proved, it is constantly tested.
Now give your evidence, but steer clear of the bible as my job (for over 55 years) involves translating very ancient texts that ended up - badly translated - in your bible.
Said document is basically a compendium of Babylonian fairy tales pieced together by a bunch of semi-literate goat-sodomisers.

It would be a whole lot easier to "prove" that the Earth is older than 10,000 years if the other side didn't dismiss all of our evidence out of hand.

They distrust radiocarbon dating.

They distrust dating via sediment layer. In fact, they seem to hate archaeological evidence in general.

They find holes in the fossil record that aren't actually there and then crow victory.

If this were a game of soccer, it would have rules that the refs have to ignore fouls by the blue team, and the red team isn't allowed to touch the ball. In fact, it would only have the one goal -- the read team's goal -- and no goalie. And then the blue team would crow about its invincibility until everyone was sick of it.

Fossils, strata layers, carbon dating all prove the planet is a helluva lot more than 10k yrs old. It also proves there was no global flood.

And you also keep confusing abiogenesis with evolution.

So if the flood happened about 5,000 years ago does that mean this 9550 year old tree in Sweeden (see: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/04/080416104320.htm) survived the flood... tough tree that.

oh yeah, again 10K year old living tree... not only discounts the likelyhood of a global flood 5K years ago but also kinda suggests the Earth is older then 6K.

WRITTEN evidence goes back only a few thousand years, because there was little point in inventing writing before trade and taxation, and those both require elementary means of transport and a surplus of production above the bare subsistence.

There is plenty of evidence in terms of tools, tombs, paintings, fossils, campfires etc. to indicate that modern humans, and their ancestors, were around long before that.

Henry Morris was never an "evolutionist".

He was a creationoist nutbar in a time when it was easier to get away with such bullshit. Engineers are NOT biologists and have no real education or inclanation to understand the theory.

Like most "creationist scientists " he has no credibility in the field.

Tl:dr, just eyed through bits of it.

There is nothing in-between apes and humans, as humans are of the family great apes.

How much do you think is left of your great-great-great-grandparents' bodies? Probably nothing. What about their houses, do they still stand? Probably not. New cultures tend to eradicate old cultures, which makes archaeological finds VERY rare.

The Chinese and the Hindus had fully functioning civilizations 6000 years ago, about which it exists records. There is no record of a world-wide flood in any of their records. If there was a flood, it was localized to parts of the Middle East, where the writers of the Bible lived. As they only knew about their part of the world, it seemed World Wide to them.

Evolution is one of the strongest and most supported science we have. And, it has very little to do with abiogenesis.
