HC Andersen's stories also stood the test of time. They are the same still, as they where when my dad was little, but recent history has changed several times since then.
Creationism has stood the test of time because in the past you've been able to ostracize, marginalize, penalize, torture and kill anyone who objected to it. Now you can't do those things any more, and your silly snake and rib woman story is on its way out.

You know what happens to God when gaps are filled, don't you? And the LHC will soon fill the final gap, re. the Big Bang. Then Genesis, along with the rest of the Bible, will only be fit for use as toilet paper.
FACTS destroy 'Faith'. Every time.
There are many older creation stories than the Bibles and since they're older and can't be proven wrong they must be right. Your religion being one of the followers and near the younger side must be wrong then. That's your logic.
Your creation story hasn't stood up to even one test. You in fact, quite strongly object to any tests of your religion.
