Only when it comes to religion is it not only acceptable but encouraged to believe what people tell you without evidence or questioning. Outside of religion, claims generally require facts and support to back them up, so that they can be determined to be truthful by any given observer, reader, or listener.
If people are unwilling to listen to your "truth," it's not because they hate you or your religion, but because you are incapable of providing anything at all to back up what you say.
