So you don't need antibiotics, vaccinations, health care or surgery anymore?
Cool! Can you also fly and shoot heat rays from your eyes?
Oddly enough, the reverse is also true.
Course, that's actually more indicative of you being an idiot.
All the technology that runs modern civilization which everyone takes for granted? Consider all of that gone if humans suddenly decide to abandon science and bring about another dark age. No computers, no space exploration, no medical care, no long distance transportation, no adequate protection from the elements unless you want to go back to caves or live in a little mud hut, and all around chaos erupting as society collapses from all the wars breaking out over the massive amount of deaths from the loss of medical science and loss of resources which are now unobtainable!
I'm a fan of science, find it interesting to know what the learned have discovered. I don't need it, could live without knowledge that I will never be able to utilize, just as I don't need to know the names of Led Zeppelins members to enjoy them.
By the way, Ididn't believe in God years before I started investigating science.
You people really want to label science as an opposing force to your religion, but it's much simpler to go to the core of your problem.
Reality opposes your religion. Reality is studied by science and religion produces stories that have no footing in reality.

And yet, you’re posting this on the internet.
There’s a LOT of science in the internet.
Making your computer work, for one. Itsy tiny grooves in a teensy rock make words and pictures on your screen. Wow.
And the phone lines connecting you to other computers.
And creating the pwoer to run the computer and ship it to your home. Science, science, science.
I mean, no one ever prayed and got a reactor, or a windmill.
And the satellite systems that send your words all over the entire freaking world! Building the satellites, getting them UP there, getting them into orbit, stable orbits, and all that whole interlocking network of machines…
So, you sit there, smug in your religion, and feel you’ve outgrown science? And yet, you depend on science very heavily just to brag this one thought. So as long as SOMEONE believes in the science, you benefit fully from it, huh?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
