Every species remain as they are for millions of years. There was no speciation took place. A fossil tiger
skull shows that tigers
have been exactly
the same for
the last 80 million
years, without undergoing
any alterations.

All modern big cats are derived from a leopard-like ancestor that lived around 5 mya, tigers split off around 2 mya. To use a cliche, we have the fossils, we win.
Sorry Brent, but sabre-toothed cats aren't at all closely related to modern big cats, they're in different families, and a lot of them are much older, up to around 35m years old.
Oooh... I can do poetry too!
Skull is hollow like a cave,
Where troglodites tinker with stones,
Awaiting their turn to evolve,
into rational beings,
the last 80 brain cells dissipate,
like ripples on the water
A quick check of Wikipedia shows dozens of sub-species and that the unrelated Sabre Tooth began 2.5 million years ago and died out 10,000 years ago. Of my three cats, one thinks he's a bear, one a tiger, and the Siamese claims to be God. You fail fool.
@Nowonmai and Jay-Sus:
Argh! Read what solomongrundy and myself have been saying.
You cannot use smilodons as an example of how tigers have not always been the same, for the simple fact that smilodons were not related to modern tigers.
You cannot counter a scientific knowledge fail with another scientific knowledge fail. Two fails don't make a win.
Damnit. I read 'tiger' as 'tiger shark' at first and was about to point out that sharks actually haven't changed much, which doesn't disprove evolution so much as it proves that sharks were so badass to begin with that they didn't need fixing.
I don't know very much about tigers themselves. Mammalian biology isn't my bailiwick. I need more quotes about reptiles.
@OT
Some think the Sabertooth Tiger was more closely related to bears, so your one cats maybe onto something. Thing is even they didn't exist 80 million years ago, no mammals bigger than a racoon did.
Look fundies, if you're gonna lie about things like fossils you must do some research on them and if you research fossils you search scientific sites. Creationists, even those with PhDs have not studied these things in anyway, you must have got that 80 million year old tiger skull claim from some fucking lieing creationist or just made it up as you typed.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
