Since when did Christians incite acts of violence towards non-believers? - What utter rubbish!

Crusades, Inquisition, Charlemagne, Witch Trials, Holocaust, Bombing abortion clinics, murdering homosexuals.

Well, let me get the list out!

Hang on, this flash drive is kinda slow...

It's a .. It's a big file..
..
There we go!
It's even funnier because this is the post right above it:
If the evos insist on using force to brainwash our children, then that leaves the our side no choice but to wage an all out political war against them. None of this namby-pambi stuff we’ve seen so far...I mean an unrelenting, in-your-face political battle to crush the jackbooted evos and their Commie-ACLU minions once and for all.

Salem, Mass, Jerusalem in the crusades, the inquisition, witch trials in various countries, abortion clinic bombings, the holocaust (Gott min uns), killing native peoples in numerous countries because the wouldn't convert to christianity, etc.
Oh but wait, let me guess.... Those that commited acts of violence and massacres in the name of christ were not really True Christians(TM) . Am I right?
::snicker::
Oh, let's see, your Bible for starters. The Inquisition. The Holocaust. Fred Phelps. The guys who killed Matthew Sheppard. Need I go on?
EDIT: @ Old Viking -- No! Not the COMFY CHAIR!
Cathars, Gnostics, Orthodox, catholics vs protestants, etc, etc, etc, History has been made of religious wars and murders. Face the fact!
Crusades, Witch-Hunts, Inquisition, ''Cleansing'' Native Americans, Forcing religion by the sword in europe.
And recent murders and various bombings.
No sirree.
(As a phone conversation one might have overheard.)
Try to learn a bit about what happened before you were born.
No! Not in the Bible! History Books...
Yes. It's the history* of a certain time and place, that is, the Middle East and Palestine until about 100 A.D. But what happened since then, elsewhere in the world?
Right. "Ummm..." That's what you ought to learn about.
* Since the Bible's historical accuracy is not the issue at stake, I've chosen, for the sake of argument, to implicitly concede that point.
Well, there was the church shooting in Knoxvill, TN, last month. Then there's "fag bashing"--that's been going on forever. There's anti-abortion violence--plenty of bombings, shootings, and beatings there.
Don't forget Bosnia, or Ireland, or the Thirty Years' war.
Going further back, there's the Salem witch trials, the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the Dark Ages.
Then, of course, there's the BIBLE.
I think I left some things out, but that'll do for starters. Do you have any questions?
Yeah, yeah, all of that, and the Albigensian Crusade as well.
But really, no true Christian would do these things.
Where shall we start?
Destruction of Rome (500,000 dead)
The "conversion" of Northern Europe (3 million)
The Crusades (14 million over all campaigns)
The Hugonaut Wars (4 million)
The Hussian Wars (3 million)
The Spanish Inquisition (2 million, 8 million crippled)
The conquest of the Americas (100 MILLION!)
The Philippines campaign (2 million)
The "conversion" of the Polynesians (1 million)
The "conversion" of the Aborigines (1 million)
The Reformation (1 million)
The English Civil War (1 million)
Northern Ireland (4,000)
The Holocaust - Jews, Gypsies and Atheists top of the hit list (14 million)
......
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
