Its comforting to know that once the rapture happens the ACLU will be out of a job...because most of the good in the world will have left for a time.

"Most" of the world? Those people don't even consider most Christians spiritually and morally up to code!
But yeah, the ACLU probably *would* have less work.
@Jay-sus
Killing themselves is considered blasphemy, and they would go to hell.
But that doesn't mean we can't pick up some shotguns and kill em.

I don't think the word "rapture" is even mentioned in the bible. But it says that Jesus will return or something.
If you seen Zeitgeist they mentioned that somewhere in the bible it says that Jesus will always be with us until the end of the aeon. Meaning we'll switch from Pisces to Aquarius.
No. The ACLU isn't battling "good" anyway. It fights for equal civil rights. Even CHRISTIAN RIGHTS.
Hey God? Yeah, these people of yours are fucking imbeciles. I just thought you should know.
There's bad news for both camps here: the rapture will never happen.
Which means, normal folks are forced to endure the continuing knee-jerk stupidity of the self-proclaimed Elite of the Ignorama.
Rapture is self-delusion. It's not in the bible; was never recognised by Christians for the first 1800 years of the church - until Miller came along with his heresy in the mid 1800s.
All of historical christianity is stacked against Rapture. Historical christianity dwon the ages cannot all be wrong. Rapture is wrong - and mind-bogglingly stupid: a comfort zone for the mindless.
Rapturites are, without exception vacant-minded, self-deluded heretics destined to the lake of eternal fire.
Pretending for a moment that the rapture really did happen, there would be two reasons for the ACLU to not have to work so hard:
1. The Fundies wouldn't be around to try to oppress the rights of gars and minority religious groups.
2. The Fundies wouldn't be around to whine about being persecuted by "liberals".
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
