The funny thing is that people who believe it tend to understand it, at least in general terms. Fundies who diss the big bang theory have a knack of not having a fucking clue of what it means, or even what the word "theory" means.
Yet they will believe all sorts of long-since disproven biblical crap without batting an eye. Now that would be funny, if it wasn't so blindingly stupid.
