I'm gonna go with no on that one. There are plenty of reasons to support living like bonobos, but the fact that bonobos already do isn't one of them.

You have to read the discussion after the question to understand what he's trying to get at: he's trying to draw a parallel between ape communities and human cultures.
Among apes, he claims, bonobos are the least violent as well as the least restrictive about sexual freedom and mating habits. The parallel would be -- since Islamic culture tends to be very restrictive about sex, perhaps a culture of violence should be expected.
Not to say I agree this is a valid or useful comparison or factually accurate, but that's the thinking that went behind the question.

Maybe they think that bonobos have a lot of sex and are very peaceful (females are equal to males) and Islam is the opposite of that so therefore Islamic lifestyles are the worst on earth (actually IMHO I think he's right on that one, at least from a woman's perspective). I dunno, I have been taking acid so maybe that's why it made sense to me ;)
