(I LOVE skulls on stuff!...well....cute skulls.

And It is NOT a death culture or anything like that... it is EMO....the response to the "eternal sparkle" and expectations of perfection set by preps, cheerleaders, Barbie, etc.

It is a way of saying: "You want me to be perfect like Barbie... but I can't be, so you make me miserable about it, so at least I'll be miserable with style.")

Skulls are not cute, and they should not be a popular trend amongst Christians. Period. That's like saying that you think demons are cute. Its the culture of death. Plain and simple. "EMO" is another trend that lumps in with this culture of death. To some its just cute, but there is a message, and that is, "Death. Kill Yourself! Hate yourself! Show the world that you aren't scared to die! Embrace death as beautiful!, etc. etc." Maybe I could be off base, but I am pretty sure the message is crystal clear.

Cute is ribbons, frilly dresses, a puppy, babies, etc. etc . Trend + skulls = cute (Hypothetical) Trend + demons = cute. Just doesn't make sense.

By the way, God does call us Christians to be set apart from this world. We can do that without dressing differently, though, I would encourage modest attire. The way you dress can reflect your self-respect.
