Fundies have a habit of regarding any pronouncement as true, if it comes from them. Just like the bible.

I have to say, one thing I do like about the fundies is that they at least KNOW that the bible contradicts science. While the moderates are much nicer people, their desperate attempts to twist their beliefs to fit with science are quite sad. At least the fundies know that if the bible is right science is wrong.

Nor does it need to. Evolutionary theory use's the order of appearence that things actually appeared in. If you look around you will find that reality is in no way obligated to conform to scripture.

False dichotomy, either/or fallacy. Just because evolution happened does not mean that parts of you holy book are not true. Nor does it mean that you holy book is a "lie", a lie by nessecity requires intent. your book can be either a myth, a misunderstanding, or any number of other possibilities

I have no reason the belive that evolution is a lie. In fact I don't even "belive" in evolutionary theory, I accept it. Belief is for things that cannot be proven, therefore it does not apply to evolutionary theory.

That would also apply to the men who wrote your holy book also, and to your christ, as he was also a man. It would also apply to your previous statements about evolution

It wouldn't matter if there was. There are already all sorts of 'inconvenient' verses the fundies ignore (it's not meant to be taken literally (oh the irony!), it was only intended for one group of people, Jesus changed the rules and that doesn't apply any more, etc.) One more wouldn't phase them at all.

Something just struck me... since it is known that at least some of the Gospels are faked works (but no-one knows which they are) and since this kind of fundie likes to claim there's no contradictions between the Gospels, surely the logical conclusion is that they think ALL the Gospels are faked works...
