"Is there any connection between dwellings and evolution? No. "
OV, I have half a mind to submit this quote. You should know better dude.
"did we evolved in that aspect, yes."
That's not evolution in a biological sense you nit.
"do i think we came from apes? no."
Does anyone particularly care? No.
Unfortunately fundies seem to have decided that when we say "evolution" we mean any change taking place anywhere in the universe. Hence why the big bang, and "evolving" stars and planets get dragged into it. Of course because they don't understand evolution, they think it should apply to everything, which is why we get silly arguments like "if I leave my car in my garage for a few years, will it evolve into a Ferrari?", and of course the old "I've never seen a monkey give birth to a human!"
It's the old watchmaker argument, and if fundies could pluck up the courage to read science books by non-fundie authors, they would find that the argument was totally destroyed some 150 years ago by a man named Darwin.
We're still apes, chicka.
I do wish that my crappy condo would evolve into a mansion, however...

Social progress =/= Biological evolution.
Tents are awesome. They have so many advantages over houses. If you were a nomadic tribe of people following bison across the plains, you try dragging a house with you everywhere. Some Native Americans settled in one place, had permanent structures and practiced agriculture. You shouldn't learn about archaeology from The Lone Ranger.
You also shouldn't say 'men' to refer to humans, it's sexist. And since you excluded Native Americans from 'men' it was also racist. Also, evolution does not work that way. Finally, humans did not evolve from apes, we are apes.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
