Jesus was a liberal. He preached, among others, equality among all people, which is definitely a liberal concept, as well as socialist ideals, which is so far left it has no place in modern American conservatism.

I've never been able to see a real distance between liberal values and Christian values, except for the secularism of the former. Sure you guys disagree on issues like abortion and gay marriage but you agree on values like altruism and turning the other cheek (at least in theory.) Something like Objectivism, for example, with it's focus on selfishness seems more like the "opposite of Christianity" to me. Just throwing that out there.
It ocurred to me tonight that I truly despise Rapture Ready with every ounce of my being. I can't say that I hate very many things but these fucking cowards who hide behind their chicken shit moderators while throwing rocks at EVERYBODY really get under my skin. If they had any integrity they would actually step out of their little treehouse and face the rest of the world - but then again, if they had any integity, they wouldn't be fundies would they?
Liberalism and conservatism are far from mutually exclusive, you fuckwit. They just happen to be the only parties you have. The political opposites are

The misuse of the word liberal is actually corrupting the Holy Word of the Bible - i.e. God's holy Word, don't you think? In other words, hypocrisy is being liberally displayed.

Let there be no mistake: these people are out to cause Armageddon to achieve their mythical/heretical Rapture. They will do it if it means bringing about nuclear annihilation, so they need to be countered very strongly. They have got the taste of political power and want more... Watch out for neconism too.
