Of course, if we can't prove its existence, how are we to prove its constructs of logic. Not as much fundy just deeply existential (though I doubt the poster had thought that deeply about it).

it sounds like god is on a message board defending himself
8/29/2008 8:56:19 PM
god is not perfectly logical to any reasonable person, ergo god is flawed.
8/29/2008 9:03:22 PM
Well, god is supposedly loving and kind, yet the OT paints him as an amoral asshole. You're right. That is certainly beyond logic.
8/29/2008 9:03:28 PM
Big deal. Any decent accountant can do that.
8/29/2008 9:03:58 PM
Ok, let's start not using it. Let's see how much our civilisation survives.

Smells Like a Monkey
Your logic is beyond logic. Which means...
8/29/2008 9:11:28 PM
What a douchebag.
8/29/2008 9:26:21 PM
What do you say to people like this?
8/29/2008 9:27:10 PM
8/29/2008 9:27:17 PM
:: facepalm ::
8/29/2008 9:41:18 PM
Wait, so god is Ingsoc? I never knew that.
8/29/2008 9:41:43 PM
1+1=2, get the fuck over it.
8/29/2008 9:48:29 PM
8/29/2008 9:50:40 PM
If God is incomprehsible then makes you think that you've got it right?
8/29/2008 9:52:32 PM
Look at it this way, guys: jma037 realizes that trying to prove God exists is a waste of time. Sure, he/she chooses blind faith, but -with the admission that that is what it is-. You can't say that for most fundies.
8/29/2008 9:58:55 PM
"Fools and heretics!"
Wasn't that a big hit for Sonny and Cher?
"He can also make 1+1=3"
I'll believe you when you explain what "1+1=3" MEANS.
"Do not try to understand God with your pitiful logic."
I told your mother not to give you so much sugary food, see, this is what happens!
8/29/2008 10:04:29 PM
No, even your goofball religion says God cannot do what is logically impossible. And infinity is a run-of-the-mill, everyday working tool in higher math.
8/29/2008 10:43:09 PM
Someone doesn't understand math...at all.
8/29/2008 10:52:50 PM
This is why kids shouldn't be allowed to eat so much damn sugar.
8/29/2008 10:57:57 PM
FindAndReplace (fundie, "God", "The Flying Spaghetti Monster");
8/29/2008 10:58:54 PM
If God is beyond all logic, it would be possible for him to create the universe and everything in it, send his only son to perform miracles for us, answer our prayers and still not exist...
Yet strangely, just let a vague likeness of Jesus' face appear on an overcooked piece of bacon and people like jma037 here can't say "Proof!" fast enough nor loud enough.
8/29/2008 11:04:39 PM
If by "God is beyond logic" you mean "it goes right over his head," then... yeah.
8/29/2008 11:06:05 PM
8/29/2008 11:33:52 PM
And this from the same people who claim God's existence is obvious and that all Biblical injunctions are perfectly reasonable. You can't have it both ways, guys - your religion can't be a paragon of reasonableness when you want to make laws with it, and simultaneously an impenetrable mystery whenever we point out its gaping holes and bizarre contradictions.
