Of course, if we can't prove its existence, how are we to prove its constructs of logic. Not as much fundy just deeply existential (though I doubt the poster had thought that deeply about it).

god is not perfectly logical to any reasonable person, ergo god is flawed.
1+1=goddidit. Suuuure.

Well, god is supposedly loving and kind, yet the OT paints him as an amoral asshole. You're right. That is certainly beyond logic.

Big deal. Any decent accountant can do that.

Your logic is beyond logic. Which means...

Look at it this way, guys: jma037 realizes that trying to prove God exists is a waste of time. Sure, he/she chooses blind faith, but -with the admission that that is what it is-. You can't say that for most fundies.

"Fools and heretics!"
Wasn't that a big hit for Sonny and Cher?
"He can also make 1+1=3"
I'll believe you when you explain what "1+1=3" MEANS.
"Do not try to understand God with your pitiful logic."
I told your mother not to give you so much sugary food, see, this is what happens!

No, even your goofball religion says God cannot do what is logically impossible. And infinity is a run-of-the-mill, everyday working tool in higher math.

If God is beyond all logic, it would be possible for him to create the universe and everything in it, send his only son to perform miracles for us, answer our prayers and still not exist...
Yet strangely, just let a vague likeness of Jesus' face appear on an overcooked piece of bacon and people like jma037 here can't say "Proof!" fast enough nor loud enough.

And this from the same people who claim God's existence is obvious and that all Biblical injunctions are perfectly reasonable. You can't have it both ways, guys - your religion can't be a paragon of reasonableness when you want to make laws with it, and simultaneously an impenetrable mystery whenever we point out its gaping holes and bizarre contradictions.
