Quote# 46166

Q u o t e:

The human population spiked when we slowly evolved into the intelligent creatures we are today. We have completely wiped out natural selection with medicine and a domination figure over the food chain. And fossils? Lol, fossils are insanely rare, and not to meniton we're one of the smaller creatures compared to what we normally find. Maybe we can't recognize some of our ancestors fossils because they're so different.

When you take into account the flood, and around the time it happened, and work up population growth from there, you get the amount of people on earth today. We have found fossils smaller than our human body, we have found fossils that are very small.

Sorry

When did it happen? I could've sworn we've found a tree with 11,000 uninterrupted growth rings that couldn't have stayed had there been a flood

Actually, fossil records and deep soil/ice samples show the earth used to have a higher O2 content, so critters were larger in the days of dinos and other 'pre-mammalians'.

There was no flood, so no need to take that into account.

Yes, when humans evolved the population of humans on the Earth was greatly increased.

Wait, what?

Fossils are insanely rare? I guess you've never been to Joggins Fossil Cliffs in Nova Scotia. It's one of the wonders of the world, you should check it out.

No evidence of the Flood barring the Bible, but plenty against it.

I loved the "tl;dr" as a response to a two paragraphs long post.

The whole thread is a truckload of fail.

"When you take into account the flood, and around the time it happened, and work up population growth from there, you get the amount of people on earth today"

When we take into account that your flood is a myth, we realise you are full of shit.

We have completely wiped out natural selection with medicine

Natural selection is NOT a disease you imbecile and it can't be just "wiped out". You could though say that modern methodologies (modern medicine being one of them) begotten by human intellectual evolution have allowed individuals to be more adaptable and hence survive perils that could result in their demise in the absence of the said adaptations. Remember; natural selection would only kill if one failed to adapt/evolve, just like you theists sadly have.

Population growth is not a single static number that you can just use to get from point A to B.

We have found fossils smaller than our human body, we have found fossils that are very small

Your point?

Oh hell. WoW forums aren't exactly the place to look for breeding minds. There should be a conversion factor of 2 - 3 for stupidity from sites dedicated to pimply fat kids with no lives.

Meh.
