God used this country in more ways than one to stop the evil [Nazis] from taking over the entire world... If we had adopted the the American Indians pagan religion our becoming a great country would have never have happened... Similar to why God had ordered the Isralites to clear the promised land so that they would not get infected with pagan religions.
