Not very bright, not very well read, anti-women, and conspiracy-minded. Definite free-con or free-republic material if he lives in his parent's basement off their money and refuses to get a job.

Ok, are you going to tell us that, from the 19th century onwards women can vote and men can't, that they earn more or that men are restricted in their roles in relation to women?. Either book you choose, YOU FAIL.

/Women since the 19th century had more priviledges than men./
Which is why we couldn't vote and were expected to always stay home while the men could do whatever they wanted? I think not.

Allegory for Jesus
"Why can't women come up with their own religion that does not ordain men? "
Wow. That's hilarious. Here's why: this is just like saying that a minority group that is oppressed by a government regime should go off and form their own country, and nothing should be done about the government itself. If America as a whole took that as a general policy towards global politics, we would be doing a whole lot less world-policing. But, of course, the only oppressive regimes that we will tolerate are the ones that are located in our own backyard.
"Women since the 19th century had more priviledges than men."
Citation. Please. Being able to not work (be it at a career, or in deciding a husband) is not exactly a "privilege" if they have no choice to do otherwise.

Oh, *that's* why my grandmother couldn't have her own credit card or buy a house back in the 1960s. Because she had so many more privileges than men!

"Why can't women come up with their own religion that does not ordain men?"
Because that would be turning a shitty system on it's head, to mutual benefit of nobody. Better to change the existing system to benefit everyone, rather than just a powerful few.

@Boxtop: Almost no misandrists are also fundies - the overlap between religious fundamentalism and belief in female superiority is infinitisimally small. Where any form of misandry exists in religion, it's usually couched in terms of the fragile purity and spirituality of women, placing them on a pedastal and requiring protection from the dirt of the real world - which usually ends up being as misogynistic as it is misadrist.
When SSTDT comes along, I'll track down and post some Andrea Dworkin gems, just for you.
