JONAH can start with a demonstration to show us that their underlying hypothesis is real. Take a very straight man, turn him into a gay man and have him live that way for a couple of years, including oodles of hot male sex and then turn him back to be straight. Then publish your papers and describe the exact process used.
But, no using an old scroll of mythology is not going to help you achieve the goal.

I never got this "it's their job to make them not gay" shit. If the school guidence counselor or the principal or whatever ever brought me into their office one day and told me that I shouldn't have sexual feelings about women, I'd tell them to kindly fuck off and advise them on the proper orafice in which to shove a particularly large cactus.
You don't choose to be gay, asshole. I've tried.
I got burned in hetero relationships and thought I might have better luck as a lesbian. Try as I would, though, I just couldn't find other women sexually attractive. So I know, from personal experience, that this "sexual orientation can be changed" bullshit is exactly that.
The last sentence on its own would be rather inspiring. But, the drivel before it makes it hateful instead. The only rifts, wounds and lacks of hope are caused by bigots, hating people for being born different than themselves. If you bigots just stopped hating others for things they can't help, there would be no need for your organization.
If homosexuality was something that could be gotten over with, like candy-cravings or nail-biting, there would be no gay people in countries where homosexuality is punishable by death, surely.
You can't be particularly sage, if you think that homosexuality is a choice, in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Have any homosexuals ever truly been "cured" and become heterosexual through and through? Lets ask Ted Haggard...
