Quote# 4651

What about the miracles produced in the historical books of the New Testament? The Earliest Book was A.D. 37 (Mark) [actually, circa 70 AD]. Not nearly enough time to fabricate them.

"The Earliest Book was A.D. 37 (Mark)"
Almost all scholars agree that the epistles of Paul pre-date the written forms of the gospels as we know them.

"Not nearly enough time to fabricate them."
How in the world did you come to that conclusion?

Chapters of Mark were still being forged in 400CE.

One single year is easily enough time to perpetrate such a hoax. Even if the entire gospel is 100% original fiction, it could have been written in a matter of weeks.

But of course, that's just if you ignore all the stuff we actually know about the origin of the Bible. Like that much of Jesus' actions are plagiarised from those of Mithra and Gautama Buddha.
