Atheists are funny when they become offensive. No doubt about it. Atheists are a whole lot more entertaining when they are emotional, obscene and irrational.

Because nothing pisses you off more than when we don't sink to your level.
But then again, so is everyone.
Fundies win the race tough, hands down.

Thank you, thank you very much, asshole. I'm here all week. Fuck Jesus.
Tough crowd, but ya gotta keep 'em laughing.
Piss on your bible, dummy. And tune in tomorrow night.
And yet, religious fanatics are losing on almost every front. Abortion is still legal. Marriage equality is rapidly becoming the law of the land. Creationism has been discredited as a science and, consequently, can no longer be taught as such. Teachers are not allowed to lead student prayers. And, with each passing year, the average attendance at churches in the USA drops. As I said, you are losing, to people you dismiss as "emotional, obscene and irrational."
I, for one, find that very funny.
That's true about everyone, I guess. No-one who is rational, factual and down-to-earth is particularly funny. Informative and educational, yes, but not that funny, often.
However, when Creatinists try to be rational, factual and down-to-earth, they are even more funny than when they are offensive, and they fail at it almost every single time.
This is an odd sentiment, since you lot take offense over anything or anyone not locked into your God club.
Methinks you're doing the ole projection here or you are deliberately antagonizing them with "Atheism takes no brains" type of witnessing.
Provoking anger is a tool of many creationists. Comfort does that, constantly praising believers for their common sense or logic and accusing Atheists of devious intentions or ignorance. Working on that "the person that get's upset or angry must have something to hide" nonsense, which in their case they call Righteous indignation when they go off.
For them too just being curt and showing a little irritation becomes "Dawkins was foaming at the mouth and couldn't get coherent words out to counter the brilliant irreducible complexity arguement presented calmly and politely by the happy creationist"
Confused?
