The (so-called) Liberal Media exist. The existence of a god is moot... Go figure.
That said, I doubt if there is actual textual material that is 6,000 years old. The Egyptian First Dynasty is reckoned to have begun about 3,000 BCE. Writing was being developed before that, but not by too long.
Well, now see... the media exists.
So that's like a HUGE bonus for their credibility right there.

It's more a case of the Bible or the media. Frankly, I like my information to be up to date.

The "liberal media" had nothing to do with the HISTORICAL PROOF that Egypt has been around for 6,000 years.
In fact, CENSOREDFORXEX, I'll do you one better, the city of Damascus is the world's oldest city, dating back over 9,000 years.

Dude, come to Hungary. Many people here stubbornly believe that the Old Hungarian alphabet (a kind of runiform script) is 40,000 (you read that right, forty-thousand!) years old. Which is kind of wild, but still not as crazy as thinking that the world is 6,000 years old.
