Why are people so concerned about global warming when the rapture is upon us?
We had an interesting talk about global warming at Bible Study the other day and my Youth Pastor told us that this will only happen in the next 100 years or so.
In my church we believe that the end of the world (the rapture) is comming soon. It will be much quicker than global warming. So we dont need to fear global warming that much.
Maybe it is better to put our energies into praying and having faith in our Lord Jesus?

Because it's not going to fucking happen. You know... In my life. The Rapture is actually, LITERALLY never going to happen, sadly.

Just keep praying and having faith in Lord Jesus, and don't put money into a retirement plan, and don't bother about the environment, and don't make any other plans more than a month or so in advance. Just don't come crying to us ants when things start getting rough and there've been enough "any minute now"s to fill a perpetual calendar, and Jesus still hasn't come. You will, of course, and we, being the evil, amoral bastards that we are, will do what we can. Wonder if the opposite would be true..?

Apparently you don't have any descendants to care about, no younger generation that you love. I do, and that's why we need to care about global warming now rather than leave it to our grandchildren to suffer.
