One would HOPE her religion informs her politics. The main reason people should be concerned about Obama as president is that he has no executive track record to judge his thinking by, and the little that is available isn't reassuring.

Knowing someone's religious views, and that person's seriousness about religion, tells us something important about that person, such as how would she/he most likely govern? This is why people are rightly concerned about Obama's 20-year connection with a church of black racists.
