With my beliefs and love of birth and children, I would want to just have babies as God gave them to us. We would also have more freedom in our marriage relationship, no worries because more babies are more blessings. With four c-sections, we are struggling with the safety issue. I am struggling with how big do I think my God is? Am I demonstrating a lack of faith by even having this struggle? OR, has God called me to take care of myself and having more pregnancies would not be doing that? Right now, I do not know. I have not heard from God clearly on this.

I honestly don't understand how she would have the time to even get to four children. And Amy, I hate to break it to you, but the reason that you haven't heard clearly from god about it, is that he doesn't exist. God is fictional. Just like the "satanist" Harry Potter.
Is god so selfish that he would want you to die and abandon your already living children? Are not the C-sections clue enough that god has not built you to have a large family?
Take the pill and raise the brats that you already have.
God would not expect you to have more brats then you can handle. It would be simply dumb.
But then again, people like you are not exactly intelligent, are you? This is why stupid people outnumber the smart, they breed like bunnies.
What if you die during another pregnancy? Who takes care of your other children?
Besides your health issues, how do you get by financially? What kind of future could you provide your kids?
I guess they will not go to college anyway, especially if you have girls ...
A whole litter of kids is only a blessing if you can damn well care for them as they ought to be. Unless you're planning to live on a nice big farm and make a living selling the crops you grow, there's not a whole lot of reason to have more than 5 at the most. Or do you have a budget plan that would make the world's best accountants weep tears of joy?
You'd better not have any more children; the next one could kill you. Having a c-section in a earlier birth dramatically increases the need for a c-section for future births, as is obvious in your case. So for your sake, stop breeding.

Since god doesn't exist, he can't say anything. this may account for your difficulty hearing him.
Since we never got any financial help from God with the kids we do have (not even a single diaper), we stopped at two. Because that was what we could afford to support comfortably.
If God had wanted us to have more kids, He should've topped up the bank account regularly.
I mean, it was like He never existed.
love of birth ?
You have never given birth, dummy. A doctor cut those demon-spawn right out of your sloppy uterus. You love that?
Maybe if you spent a little less time on you back and more time actually raising the kids, the world would be a better place.
I have not heard from God clearly on this.
That would be because it doesn't exist. It can't talk, 'cause it ain't real.

We don't know that.
We only know that she's had 4 C-sections. That doesn't mean she's only had 4 kids....
EDIT: I take that back. Her blog clearly says she has 4 kids.
kingoftheheavies is right....

Sure you have. God is saying "have your babies normally. If you or the baby die in the process, tough shit." Humans are telling God to stuff it - they've figured out a way around His stupidity.

Oh Lord.
Ooh, you are so big!
So absolutely huge!
Gosh, we're all really impressed down here I can tell you.

Stop reproducing! Just stop. We no longer need to reproduce as if the survival of our species depends on it. You can now STOP at the at least four you already have.
If God's as benevolent as you make out to be, I'm sure he'd rather you'd not risk rupturing your uterus by spawning more kids after four c-sections and prefer you to focus your love and attention on the children you already have.
But hey, who am I to speak for your Invisible Sky Daddy?
With four c-sections, we are struggling with the safety issue.
You've had 4 c-sections...? Damn science for saving you from the destiny God planned for you.
Good for you, er... if being a breeder moo is what you want. Honestly, I'm terrified that people like you want the rest to conform to their beliefs about contraception and abortion - i.e.; none. As if we childfree are not already inundated with constant messages of breed, breed, breed, famuhlee is good and all that crap.
Confused?
