There is, in fact, a lot of proof for a brain and none for a god.

Um, anyway, asswalls aside, there is no evidence for god, so he is either nonexistent or totally irrelevant, and either way probably not your specific god.

OR hear it..but we believe we all have brains..and we take great lengths to prove to people we have a brain..But why?

1. Excuse me, but I think that virtually everyone will be missed by someone when he or she dies, someone who cares -- someone REAL.
2. This really irks the heck out of me, this notion that what "feels good" is more important than what's actually true -- and, further, the implication that someone who does deal in reality cannot possibly be happy with just that. The suggestion that you have to choose between being happy and being right is a false dichotomy -- and an insulting one.
Yes we can prove that humans have brains, it's called a MRI, or brain surgery. Or hell, an EEG will do.
I've actually heard this "can you prove that you have a brain?" argument before actually. It was used in a gospel tract that my aunt gave me in a futile attempt to get me to convert.
But really, have these guys never heard of neurosurgeons, brain surgery, MRI's or autopsies?

And there's plenty of proof for a brain, though as for you, I'm willing to bet you don't have one.
We CAN prove people have brains, because when you die and we cut you open, you will have a brain... a rather small one admittedly, but we should be able to find it with a microscope.
Xray, MRI, CAT scan, PET scan, and if all that fails, crack open the skull. Yeah, I can prove I have a brain.
Without using the bible as your 'proof', prove God exists.

Um, MRIs, Cat Scans while living show functioning human brains. An autopsy when deceased shows a non functioning human brain. Hhhmmm come to think of it, an MRI of a fundi would show a non functioning human brain.
Here's a good way to prove you may have a brain.
1. Get a high caliber handgun.
It takes a hell of a lot of faith for me to believe you've got one.
Otherwise, this analogy is complete and utter fail.
Due to the "evils" of medical science and my "intelligently designed" body, I have had the opportunity to see my brain, my heart, my lungs, my liver, one of my kidneys, one of my ovaries and a good section of my digestive tract.
I have had two EEGs, one CAT scan and one MRI. I would hazard a guess that the doctors would have told me if they found NOTHING in there.
No, I don't feel good that there is nothing and no-one waiting afterwards. But it is what makes the most sense. good that I grow older each year, or that avalances kill lots of people each year, or that the average temperature of Earth is rising dangerously. But they are still facts; they don't change because I feel like it.
Can you prove that there is no Shiva, no Odin, no Zeus?
