There are lots of verses that condemn saying bad things, but none of them are talking about "cuss words". They're talking about bad intentions, or false swearing of oaths, or trying to speak for God.

Coming from a religion where men can dress as women as long as they've got the testosterone to back it up, and one of the goddesses letting a team of dwarves gangbang her for a necklace(it was a very pretty necklace though), "vulgar language" doesn't seem all that big a deal. It does seem to be better to be more eloquent, but that's personal preference.
We're far more interested in people keeping their word if they swear by something. Maybe you should give that a try?
