Like I've said before, what if the baby is dangerous to the mother's health or will be born with a horible deformity/desease that will make their life unbearable/painful/short? Wouldn't it be kinder to abort it?

People would still do thhe 'offending' actions regardless of whether the counter action is banned or not.

I didn't remember replying to this, but I have more comments to make.
Sometimes a person wants sex, but is in no position to accept the child that could conceivably come with it. For example, let's say a girl and her boyfriend want sex. Both, however, are in university and know having a baby will interrupt their education, and that their current lack of a full-time job would make raising a baby extremely impractical. In that case, the sensible thing would be to wear a condom.
Let's also say a or woman either have or suspect they have an STD. The sensible thing, if they did have sex, would be to wear a condom to prevent it spreading.
Because I have been taught by my parents that sex is a private thing, I won't be having it for several years yet. If, for example, I was raped, or if circumstances came together so that I had sex without planning to, I know I can take the morning-after pill to prevent myself from getting pregnant while still in high school and without having any university education. I also know that if I marry while still in university, I can take birth control to prevent a pregnancy until I've finished my education and found a stable job. I learned all this from sex education. Every girl I know who have gotten pregnant hasn't payed attention in sex ed.

Tell that to a horny man demanding his "right" to sex. He'll just deny all responsibility for any "unacceptable results" that occur anyway!
Sounds like Al here wants to have his cake and eat it too... and then blame women for its disappearing.

You seem to be labouring under the delusion that there has ever been a time when people didn't have sex outside of marriage. There hasn't and shouldn't be.

Hmmm, so we should also remove seatbelts and the like from cars. After all, if you don't want to crash you shouldn't drive! If you don't want to eat possibly spoiled food, just don't eat.

Except that it's possible to perform the action without producing the unacceptable results. And that's why it bothers you--because people CAN avoid being punished for having sex.

It's not a problem if you have sex education, condoms, the pill and abortions, stupid. People like having sex. People also like to be able to afford and care for a child properly. In the western world we don't have a 50 percent infant mortality rate any more. Almost all kids survive to the age of five nowadays.

it's a nice theory, but it doesn't jive with human nature. You expect hormone addled adolescents to keep it in their pants?
