I am not, in fact, a walking womb.

And, there is a very long history of Western society accepting both abortion and maternal infanticide. It was not unusual for women to kill their new borns if the new mouth to feed meant that the family as a whole might face starvation. As long as it happened fairly close to birth, society didn't get involved at all.

And once again pregnant =/= irresponisble slut.
- She may have been raped.
- She may have used protection and it broke.
- She may have had sex with her partner/husband.

Gahh...I need to just create one final copy of this arguement and then just copy and paste it or something...

i) If a woman gets pregnant before the age of fifteen, she can suffer serious health effects. She can even die in childbirth, if not before during the pregnancy. Why kill the woman and the baby when you only have to kill one? It would be better for the mother to abort the pregnancy, so that she can go on to have more children later.

ii)Sometimes, a child is born with a serious genetic illness. We all know that. Sometimes, these genetic abnormalities either kill the baby or make life painful/difficult/not worth living. With the technology we have nowadays, we can spot these syndroms earlier, and end a child's suffering before they have to live through it.

I do not condone abortion if you are sixteen and slept around because you were high on meth. There are plenty of other women out there who can't have children and who want to. But sometimes it's kinder, if not down right nesessary, to simply kill the baby.

I'm going to assume, from the name, that this arrogant and pig-ignorant little twat is male. As such, it has no say whatsoever in what women do with their own bodies. And as far as responsible behaviour goes, Albert, kindly provide proof of your vasectomy.

I assume that this is talking about adoption. Unfortunately, adoption isn't always that cut-and-dry. A lot of people are looking for certain types of babies (read: white and male), and a lot of kids end up falling through the cracks and getting swept up in the foster care system, which I can tell you isn't fun.

I'm also guessing the number of parents who want to adopt is a lot more finite than the number of women seeking abortions per year. Of course, I don't know for sure.

Good luck explaining the married women who abort, those who have been raped and those whose life is in danger.

Following your logic, why not castrating men too?. It would be even more efficient.
