All honesty I wouldn't even care if creationism was taught in public schools, I just have a problem with the idea that it should be taught in science classes. It's not science, it'll never be science, the basis of it's claim totally goes against the rules of science. They could form a religious history class for it or something, /shrug.
When you can prove the science you're teaching, then say that. The fact is, you can't prove that either. Intelligent design is saying that matter + energy + information (not chance chemisty) = creation.
And since chance chemistry has been proven virtually impossible, I don't understand how you can insist on anything.
