My idea of Deja Vu is this; Since God exists outside of time, and to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, then we in a way also exist with him outside of time, and we are there with him right now, viewing our own birth and death etc.. I believe that Deja Vu, is our spirit/soul out of time connecting to our spirit within time, at the moment and remembering what we've already witnessed. So, each time I get Deja Vu, I feel like I'm right where I need to be, in Gods ultimate plan.

Deja Vu is an anomaly of memory, a simple brain hiccup.
I believe what STUPIDprofessor was thinking of can more appropriately be defined as Dodgy Woo .
"we are there with him right now, viewing our own birth and death"
What about all the naughty people that are cast in a place devoid of God?
This isn't all that fundie. I mean, this kind of writing seems to be aimed at people who already believe similar. It's a pretty crazy idea, but seems fairly harmless.
Even so, I'm guessing that Stupidprofessor didn't get deja vu while typing this comment. God wouldn't want His fingerprints on that trainwreck...
Deju vu is a glitch caused by faulty "wiring" in the brain, you moron.
And while we're on the topic, am I the only one who has noticed that smoking pot seems to bring on some fairly intense deju vu? Is pot the pathway to God?
Awesome!
So, since I've experienced deja vu, that means I'm already with God, so you fundies can STFU about how I'm going to hell for being an atheist!
:D
According to paragraph 14,000,000,0036 on page 6,718,324,132 of God's plan, you are actually a skoch to the right of where you are supposed to be. This might account for the poor reception that you are perceiving as Deja Vu. Mind moving to the left a bit?
@Evilutionist and Mayhem: No, can't you see? It is SO MUCH SIMPLER to account for deja vu with a hugely complicated magical wold-system that has invisble sky-fairies moving forward and back in time, urging recollections of predestined events (with all the logical problems that implies) just to let you know that they exist, which therefore demonstrates the inerrancy and divine origin of goat-herders' millennia-old scribblings - therefore explaining the meaning of life and affirming survival after death ... all of that is a simpler explanation than a small chemical loop in the brain.
Just like creationism.
What the hell?
For the record, I believe I read somewhere that one explanation of Deja Vu was an encoding error in the brain. Essentially the brain tries to "write" a memory where one already exists and, instead of storing the new one it triggers the old which gives the odd sensation of Deja Vu.
"So, each time I get Deja Vu, I feel like I'm right where I need to be, in Gods ultimate plan."
So...God's ultimate plan is The Matrix?
NO..actually science has figured out what happens during what we humans call dejavu. It is very comlicated to explain, but it has to do with a communication lag between 2 different positions in your brain. Once the brain catches up with it self it is left with a feeling that it has experienced this situation or place before..and yes it has, a few seconds ago.
You know, I don't really see anything wrong with this. I think it's a really cool way of looking at déjà vu. This comment isn't discriminating against anyone or trying to be exclusivist or divisionist, it's just expressing an innocuous spiritual belief. I don't see what's wrong with that. I'm fairly surprised at all the negative comments on this quote... I feel like the visitors of this site have turned into sharp-witted automatons who pounce on every quote without even thinking...
Confused?
