Human language doesn't show signs of having 'evolved' and further more one of the biggest 'left wing' evolutionists on the planet, Noah Chomsky was calling it 'irreducibly complex' before Behe or anyone else probably even thought of that idea.
Chomsky also showed that the 'base working concept' of human language is the same everywhere. we are all essentially speaking the 'same language' (human language) in its fundamental underlying system.

It just appears 5,000 years ago and there it is. Done. There is an argument its declining right now but the point is that it just 'appears' just as human civilization appears.

Is there anything an Evolutionist will say about this?
Of course.
Since we don't know what happened BEFORE 5,000 years ago that means you can simply say that there must have been cavemen wandering around for 95 thousands years 'evolving' language.
Argue from what we 'dont know' and then nobody can 'disprove' what we don't know happened anyways.

So we DONT know that there might have been 95,000 years of language evolving (and you can't prove otherwise since you don't know) and then somehow it 'all came together' overnight - then pow bang zoom - the apemen just blew up into Sumeria and fully complex modern human language!

Also, on that same night they invented social programs, armies, architecture, government, religions, manufacturing, astronomy, mathematics and so on.
but they were apemen grunting for 95,000 years before then.
You can't prove otherwise so there were!
