aahh if only this were a Huckabee/Palin ticket - I would be proud to be a Republican again.

I'm not a spambot
Oh, I wish it were so. I truly wish that it had been Huckabee with the Republican nomination instead of McCain. Then Obama would have no chance of losing the White House.

How is this a fundie?
9/24/2008 3:18:15 AM
Even with the Chuck Norris endorsements, I'd pass on that idea.
9/24/2008 3:19:12 AM
Presumably, it is fundie because Huckabee ran a much more openly religious campaign. The assumption is that Bro Tim wanted him on the ticket for that reason. Especially believable since it is on RR.
9/24/2008 3:21:04 AM
You are aware Palin isn't running for office right?
But ever since someone taught her how to use a mircophone it's as if McCain was forgotten.
9/24/2008 3:23:18 AM
That's because McCain has the charisma of a somewhat bedraggled hamster that has just come in from the rain and is now wandering around confused on the floor.
9/24/2008 3:28:27 AM
If only. Then I'd be laughing when you cry so hard when you get your party's ass pummeled.
9/24/2008 3:33:17 AM
Boom de yada!
Huckabee actually had some positive words for Obama while on the Colbert Show...or was it Ron Paul? Somebody who used to be an important Republican said some good things...but this is Stephen Colbert we're talking about...well Governor Paterson was way funnier.
"I wanted to say, 'I don't know'...but I didn't want to sound like John McCain."
9/24/2008 3:52:28 AM
That does it. I'm moving to Canada.
9/24/2008 3:57:38 AM
Then why didn't you Raptards campaign for him?
9/24/2008 3:58:35 AM
If that were the case I would have left this country regardless if I could afford it or not. Fuck that.
9/24/2008 4:08:52 AM
If you're ashamed to be a Republican, DON'T. It's not mandatory, you know.

And if that happened, the entire center of the electorate would run screaming to Obama. It would actually be good for us.
Maybe we could get just enough of them to vote for Barr or write in a Huckabee vote to fuck everything up and balance out the PUMA effect?
9/24/2008 4:26:47 AM
@ Bowen: Come on up. We got lots of room. As a side benefit, the most right wing, openly religious party in Canada (the Christian Heritage Party) got fewer votes in the last election than the Marijuana Party or the Canadian Marxist-Lenininsts.
9/24/2008 4:35:00 AM
I dunno, I suspect that if Huckabee and Palin ever came into the same room together, the entire universe would be sucked into the enormous vacuum creation by their collective lack of intelligence, and cease to exist.
9/24/2008 4:36:01 AM
religion * stupid * lulz = fundie.
Needz moar religion to be fundie.
9/24/2008 4:36:55 AM
Funny, that's about the only ticket that would convince me to vote for Obama.
9/24/2008 4:37:11 AM
How can you possibly need
incentive to vote for Obama?
9/24/2008 4:47:00 AM
Alright, but don't bitch when they loose in a landslide.
@Dexter's Laboratory: Because they both favor teaching creationism and we know Huckabee wants to make the Constitution more Bible friendly.
9/24/2008 5:02:40 AM
Did you say "Marijuana party"? How do I become a Canadian citizen?
9/24/2008 5:14:03 AM
To quote the VP, The Republican Party is "in its last throes." The necons who took it over and their use of you gullible fundies effectively killed it.
It may resurrect again and hark back to the Republican Party that Lincoln would recognize. I guarantee you it won't be this Reagan-Bush travesty.
9/24/2008 5:45:38 AM
"How is this a fundie?"
Huckabee is a fundy. Palin is a fundy. To wish for both on the same ticket, you almost have to be a fundy as well.
If I ever see a non-Christian Huckabee/Palin supporter, I will be amazed.
9/24/2008 7:19:38 AM
In that case, USA goes down. Hard.
9/24/2008 7:36:32 AM
The rest of the world would bomb the US into submission...
Or not. But we would be bloody embarrassed.
