aahh if only this were a Huckabee/Palin ticket - I would be proud to be a Republican again.

Huckabee actually had some positive words for Obama while on the Colbert Show...or was it Ron Paul? Somebody who used to be an important Republican said some good things...but this is Stephen Colbert we're talking about...well Governor Paterson was way funnier.
"I wanted to say, 'I don't know'...but I didn't want to sound like John McCain."
Huckabee/Palin?
*shudder*
And if that happened, the entire center of the electorate would run screaming to Obama. It would actually be good for us.
Maybe we could get just enough of them to vote for Barr or write in a Huckabee vote to fuck everything up and balance out the PUMA effect?
@ Bowen: Come on up. We got lots of room. As a side benefit, the most right wing, openly religious party in Canada (the Christian Heritage Party) got fewer votes in the last election than the Marijuana Party or the Canadian Marxist-Lenininsts.
I dunno, I suspect that if Huckabee and Palin ever came into the same room together, the entire universe would be sucked into the enormous vacuum creation by their collective lack of intelligence, and cease to exist.
Alright, but don't bitch when they loose in a landslide.
@Dexter's Laboratory: Because they both favor teaching creationism and we know Huckabee wants to make the Constitution more Bible friendly.
To quote the VP, The Republican Party is "in its last throes." The necons who took it over and their use of you gullible fundies effectively killed it.
It may resurrect again and hark back to the Republican Party that Lincoln would recognize. I guarantee you it won't be this Reagan-Bush travesty.
Dexter's Laboratory:
"How is this a fundie?"
Huckabee is a fundy. Palin is a fundy. To wish for both on the same ticket, you almost have to be a fundy as well.
If I ever see a non-Christian Huckabee/Palin supporter, I will be amazed.
I'm so embarrassed to share a country with this person...
Rallymodeller, can I move to Canada, too? Pretty please?
Huckabee & Palin aren't traditional Republicans. They're members of the neo-fascist Repuglican party.
Hell, the current party doesn't even resemble the traditional GOP what with that Religious Reich hijacking of the party during the Reagan administration. You folks are a mere shadow of what Lincoln and Taft's Republican Party stood for.
There's no chance in hell of victory for them, of course, but still... ;)
Political parties should not be voted for based on whether they will will or not.
"That's because McCain has the charisma of a somewhat bedraggled hamster that has just come in from the rain and is now wandering around confused on the floor."
@#736524 LMAO! Best description I've heard yet.
Some people are easily pleased.
That said, as others have mentioned - if you aren't proud to be a republican (which seems reasonable to me), then stop being one...
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
