Quote# 4825

I was driving my Chevy Monza, which I had never had any problems with... and was waiting for the traffic to clear so I could turn. But, the car died. I turned the key several times but it wouldn't turn over... Just then, there was a three car pile up in the intersection... Right where I'd have been if the car had not died. As soon as I stopped shaking and thanked God, I turned the key. The car started up immediately and I went on my way, but the opposite direction from what I had planned. [Emphasis added]

Turning around and driving away instead of helping the crash victims? How very christian of you.

The only miracle in this is that he had a Chevy Monza with which he had no problem.

So God saved you and then you left the victims there.

You better really hope your right about that "good works don't count" thing.

The carburetor was flooded. Chevy Monzas had them.

You wait, the car starts.

1) Prove it

2) Prove it was anything other than coincidence

Philbert McAdamia

...and that, Judge Judy, is the proof that it wasn't me after all that caused any of that shit. Can I go now?

You flooded it.

a mind far far away

That was a main problem with carbeurators that older model cars had problems with. The same thing happened to me several times in an old '85 Ford F-150 I used to have. Problems between the alternator (sp?) and battery can cause similar problems. So, no, there was no deity involved. Just bad mechanics. Thank science for EFI.
