"harry potter was the first "real" book i ever read"
Thus the lambofchrist bookshelves hold just one tome: the Bible.
Y'know, LoC, there's other places - especially in Afghanistan & parts of Pakistan - where they (unlike, say, even Western kindergartens, with lots of basic reading books) use just one book as the basis of their entire curriculum: The Quran.
They're called Madrassas.
And, yknow, LoC, this is just a wild guess on my part... but on the basis of 'deceet', 'arther', 'athiests'; also the lack of capitalisation, punctuation and grammar, you're 'hoemskuled'. And I reckon you haven't even read that just one book on your otherwise empty shelves.
Oh, and I can prove that you certainly haven't read any of the "Harry Potter" series: It's author JK Rowling is female.
PROTIP: The whole Salman Rushdie "The Satanic Verses" malarkey with the Mad Mullahs: all of whom, to a man, stated that they hadn't even read what they were protesting about.
Yet, my physician has "The Satanic Verses" on his bookshelves in his surgery. He tells me it reads like an extended episode of "The Twilight Zone" (and he's all in favour of literature that expands the reader's imagination; gives them a mental workout, especially for his older patients, as a method of deterring senility & Alzheimer's; he 'prescribes' membership of a library, and borrowing books on a regular basis, as he's a very well-read man himself; one of the most intellectual people you could care to meet too).
He's a Sufi Muslim.
And if you think "HP" is satanic, you should see my bookshelves, LoC: a sample:

"Harry Potter"? What about the works of CLAMP? As if it wasn't enough that manga teach young children about how a young girl can be better than God (via her invincible spell 'Zettai Daijobu!' ['Everything will be alright!']), they also promote Yaoi! The authors who are four women even say that Syaoran had a crush on Yukito. [/"CardCaptor Sakura"]
...oh, and that figurine in front of my bookshelves there, LoC? Fate T. Harlaown. Enforcer and Mage of the Time-Space Administration Bureau; here wielding her Intelligent Device 'Bardiche' in Zamber Mode: a blade that can cut through dimensions. "Harry Potter" being 'Satanic'? Bitch, please. Until you've seen the anime series Fate appears in, "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS", you ain't seen nothing yet, little Raptard!
@BreeStar
"I call Poe on this one. No one could be that stupid."
I refer you to said 'Mad Mullahs', re. Rushdie's book. Yes, they are that stupid.
@solomongrundy
"J.K. Rowling is a woman, you dummy.
Why is her first name 'Arther' then?"
Well, Sabre in the VN/anime "Fate/Stay Night" is the female reincarnation of King Arthur, so...!
