Will an Atheist always win these debates ?
noone: in the end an atheist will not win so no
gablueliner : No. The greatest debator in history is Satan. He has debated with many a people about their beliefs, but in the end, Satan will lose and will be cast into the eternal lake of fire. I suggest that all atheist try to disprove the existence of God and Jesus, and then they will see the truth because God and Jesus cannot and will not ever be disproved.
crazychick16 : They may think they do, but in the end they will not when they are burning in hell. True believers realize that not everything can be explained with facts and reason, and that atheists were usually put through some kind of trauma to waive their faith. Besides, scientists are now saying that there IS evidence of a higher being. no atheist will ever shake my beliefs, nor will they shake any true Christian.

You say that because the last debate you were in, you were made to look like the ignorant fool you are. Being much too weak and childish to ever admit you were wrong, you decide 'logical thinking is evil'.
"True believers realize that not everything can be explained with facts and reason, and that atheists were usually put through some kind of trauma to waive their faith."
True believers are delusional, then.
"True believers realize that not everything can be explained with facts and reason."
Therefore, we must wander ignorantly through this life, believing whatever suits our fancies. Maybe you, crazychick16 (aptly named), but not me.
"atheists were usually put through some kind of trauma to waive their faith."
No, I think much of religious zealotry exhibits itself in traumatized persons. Most atheists I know, I dare say probably many more than you know, came to atheism through careful examination of the evidence and critical thinking.
Also, "waive their faith" assumes we HAD faith to begin with. Everyone is born an atheist. Some have religious beliefs foisted upon them, but not all of us HAD faith to have waived.
"atheists were usually put through some kind of trauma to waive their faith."
Is this the pet argument of fundies, or what? I've seen this very argument used dozens of times in the last few days, on Y!A alone.
I don't give a damn about your beliefs so long as you don't try to force them onto everyone else.
Oh, and Pink Unicorns, Leprechauns, Santa Claus and the Flying Spaghetti monster can't technically be disproved either. Doesn't mean that they're real, though.

Erm... no. As much as you and your ilk would like to believe that, it isn't true.
I never had any faith or belief at all in "God."
I went to Sunday school, but it was just the place I went to while Grandma was at services upstairs. We colored and talked about bible stories, but it never once meant anything to me.
Sometimes, I went to the services with Grandma, and I was simply bored. I sat and drew with paper and pens that Grandma had in her purse. I remember one time, I actually took a nap right there in the pew.
None of it ever instilled anything but boredom in me. I was born atheist, and I stayed that way.
What does "winning in the end" have to do with winning debates?
Wasn't Satan already "cast into the lake of fire"? And, the fact that God and Jesus cannot be disproven is not particularly relevant when they cannot be proven either...
Again, what does "YOU GONNA BURN IN HELL!!!1!" have to do with winning debates? Also: what things aside from your delusion of choice is not able to be explained through facts and reason which is actually relevant to the way that we govern our lives? And, no, scientists as a community are not saying that.
The Three Musketeers of PHAIL.
The only reason I give up on debating with fundies is because at one point, realization hits in that the fundie is impossible to reason with. Any further attempt to reason has the potential to become a Battler v. Beatrice case, in which the debate is neverending because the fundie will usually think of some rebuttal to ANYTHING until the atheist gives up.
Also, re: "scientists are now saying that there IS evidence of a higher being". I thought science does not comment on the supernatural? Or is she referring to "Christian scientists"?
So much stupid in one place.
"atheists were usually put through some kind of trauma to waive their faith."
Yeah, actually reading the babble will do that.
Besides, scientists are now saying that there IS evidence of a higher being. no atheist will ever shake my beliefs, nor will they shake any true Christian.
Citation really fucking needed.
Confused?
