You don't have to believe He exists to hate Him. You hate Him by default, just by rejecting His existence.

You CAN'T hate what you don't believe exists! How can these people not grasp such a basic point? I can no more hate the God of the Bible than I can hate the tooth fairy, an invisible pink unicorn, or an ethical politician.

I hate Nero Wolfe, Sherlock Holmes, Santa Claus, Mario & Luigi, Superman, and Don Quixote? Not just those few, but the list is actually infinite! God, am I a hateful person!
Riiiiight. You don't get the idea, that people don't/can't hate something they know/believe not to exist. I get your religious point of this, but still: you're the ones running around with this imaginary friend of yours, not us non-believers, 'cause, well, we don't believe in such crap. Keep it to yourself, please.

Very strange ... until now I wasn't aware at all that I hate Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter and Captain James T. Kirk.
For all this hate inside me towards these fictional characters (which I wasn't aware until now), it's really strange how much I love to read the Sherlock Holmes short stories and the Harry Potter novels and how much I love to watch the good old Star Trek series.
By default, we don't believe, that's the logic path.
To hate something we don't believe in is futile at best, madness in it's worst.
But lets put this another way.
You hate the secular systems of democracy and free people because they don't enforce your GodPlan.
These systems of free people, free enterprise and laws that protect the weak and poor more than your Biblical ones are a proven reason the west has prospered. All theocracies are dictatorships. America's ills can be directly linked to a theocracy that weds itselfs to guns, power and wealth worship
Confused?
