So? Comics have come a loooong way. Did you know the Green Lantern is black now? And some minor characters are gay. In fact, why stop there? Superman and Green Lantern should totally hook up, and adopt Chinese babies.

@L Yep. The first Green Lantern (Alan Jones) was totally white. John Stewart (the one I think you're familiar with) is, to my knowledge, the first and only black Green Lantern.

The Green Lantern this poster's most familiar with, is Hal Jordan, which is the second or third Green Lantern (I'm not sure) and became such,in the late 1950's, who quit the Green Lantern Corps, & currently resides in a Quantum Micro Universe with a wife & children... (That's assuming Dark Knight 2's canon, BTW).
