If evolution happened, we would still be acting like animals.
Those who believe in it do.

So says someone who, if it were unequivocally proven that their god never really existed, arguably wouldn't be able to stop themselves from going on a wild rampage of various anti-societal activities.
Not all evolution has to do with biology. Morality evolved (and continues to evolve) along with us, regardless of who or what may or may not have set the universe in motion.

You mean like trying to find a mate, raise offspring, acquire the necessities of life ... that sort of animalistic behavior? Yeah, I'm glad no human would ever act like that.
It's a good thing that we have religion to teach us proper human behavior, like inquisitions, crusades, and flying planes into buildings.
To quote a song "You and me baby ain't nothing but mammals, so lets do it like they do it on the Discovery Channel". We are animals, sentient, with opposing thumbs, but still animals.
Our 'herds' kill other 'herds' of humans for their territory and resources. We hunt and kill our own kind. We have pack leaders (poorly elected at times, but still). Humans might have higher intelligence, but we are still a mammal, aka animal, bucko.

Wha...?
"If evolution happened, we would still be acting like animals. "
You and me baby ain't nothing but mammals :)
And "acting like animal" is wrong why exactly?
They protect their own kind, hunt, eat, drink, mate, take care of their offspring, learn things, protect their friends, even sacrifice for their community to survive. So, what's your point?
You mean like the males competing for the females, who choose their mate? Unless of course, it's a society where fundie arranged marriages are still the rule or other primitive customes to keep the females barefoot and pregnant.
We do, though. We have reflexes just like animals, our behavior is affected by hormones and endorphins, and we share the same basic behavior as other primates.
If creation happened, we would still be acting like God in the OT.
Those who believe in it do.

Timothy McVeigh. Scott Roeder. Just sayin'.
We DO act like animals. We act like humans.
And then you have fundies that act like baboons, always screeching at everything. Some of them even act like wolves, preying and feeding on any innocent souls they can get their fangs on.
Well, other animals do not kill members of their own species in quite the same scale as we do
I am always confused when someone uses the “behave like animals” argument. What do they mean? Do we flutter like butterflies and sting like bees? Are we laying eggs and sit on them until they hatch? Do our females kill the males after mating? Are we swimming in the ocean and come only on the surface to breathe? Are we building elaborate webs to catch flies and eat them? Do we bite our prey and then wait until the toxins and bacteria in our salvia kill it before we eat it?
Would it kill these people to be little more specific? One could get the impression that they don’t realize how many different animals with different behaviors are on this planet
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
