Sarah Palin does NOT love life, or she wouldn't be trying to drive wolves and bears into extinction.
9/29/2008 2:12:14 PM
Shady? He is too fotogenic for that.
9/29/2008 2:14:27 PM
Shady?....ah...I get it. Nice racist implication.
Reminds me of this scene:
9/29/2008 2:18:25 PM
Did everybody just forget McCain's the one running for president?
I swear, every quote we get about the Republicans refers to "When Palin is in charge," and such.
9/29/2008 2:19:16 PM
Wasilla is a pimple on the arse-end of beyond. God clearly put Palin somewhere she could cause the least trouble. Unfortunately, she escaped.
9/29/2008 2:19:48 PM
What newspapers are you reading? Mine seem to have gone into "All Obama's background, all the time" mode.
Oh, that's right. You people get your news from Free Republic.
9/29/2008 2:20:41 PM
Dark_Lord_Prime: Remember, McCain's approaching life-expectancy-age. There's a pretty good chance that if he's elected, he won't survive that first term.
Grigori: Saladin actually wasn't that bad a person. Not that the fundies would ever admit that...
9/29/2008 2:28:50 PM
It just goes to show that in any election, the real winners are the audience.
9/29/2008 2:29:40 PM
Nobody really knows Obama's background?
You fundies are forever telling us about it - how he's descended from Beelzebub, via Genghis Khan, Saladin and Vlad the Impaler - and you won't shut up!
@ The L: You're right. Even his opponents commented on Saladin's chivalry. But to this bunch he's just a Muslim, and that's more than enough to damn him.
9/29/2008 2:33:27 PM
What's not known? Anybody who cares to look can find out all about him – they're just not finding bad stuff, so the bigots and fanatics are frustrated.
The statement that Palin "had to have been put in the place she's at by God" I take as a tacit admission that she's totally unqualified, and must require divine intervention to make McCain stupidly choose her as running mate.
@Dark_Lord_Prime: Or maybe they're just acknowledging that McCain's unlikely to make it far past Inauguration Day.
9/29/2008 2:39:06 PM
let's see.....Halloween coming up and right afterwards the election. *countdown to RR meltdown*
9/29/2008 2:42:49 PM
Ah the elections. Lets see. There´s Obama, a person who has a history of social acivities, who also was one of the first american politicans who were against the war in Iraq (at a time when even most of the democrats still supported Bushs plans for the warin Iraq.
And then we have this Palin person, who loves it to shoot innocent animals from board of planes, took actions that are directed against nature conservation and doesn´t think that the body of a woman belongs to the woman herself (at least if she is pregnant). She also is against telling kids about STDs and methods of contraceptions, with results that can be seen at Palins own daughter, who is just 17 and already pregnant.
So we have a good against evil scenariogoing on and it´s just wild to watch
9/29/2008 2:43:35 PM
It's too bad that you turning our free election into an Armageddon battle between good and evil.
This is why religion needs desperately to stay out of politics and government.
9/29/2008 2:44:51 PM
And ten bucks says that if you look through all their posting histories, a solid 75% will have made reference to no woman holding dominion over a man. Likely in reference to Hillary, too. Fucking hypocrites.
9/29/2008 2:50:47 PM
This is what happens when you don't take off your biblical glasses.
9/29/2008 2:59:34 PM
Nobody really knows Obama's background? Pfffft! Please. EVREYONE knows he's a secret Muslim that went to a madrasah (gasp!), is the anti-christ, wants to turn America into a "dirty" socialist nation (gasp!), has baby blood-lust, and has a wacky Christian ex-pastor. And he's practically a terrorist himself. I mean, c'mon, his name sounds funny. Oh, and he's a "community organizer" (boooo! hissss!) who hates American flag pins.
McCain is an old, not so healthy man. 1200 page medical record for the past 8 years alone. I would be *shocked* if he makes it through his first term without dying or AT LEAST becoming incapacitated. That means President Palin. I got a cold chill just typing that.
9/29/2008 3:07:18 PM
Why is it that anyone who disagrees with their politics is evil?
9/29/2008 3:19:30 PM
So wait, they're actually ASSUMING McCain will die in office? I mean, I knew it was pretty likely, but he must be comforted to know his party has such faith in his health.
9/29/2008 3:57:44 PM
You know I heard exactly the opposite statement from a (normally) GOP friend of mine a couple of days ago. He said the media is whitewashing Palin to the point that he feels that nothing there behind the whitewash and OBAMA seems to be the more open candidate. He"s also pissed that everyone seems to forget that McCain is running for President not Palin!
9/29/2008 4:40:31 PM
No, caroljo, we have rationalism vs myticism.
9/29/2008 4:46:56 PM
The man's written two (2) bestselling autobiographies before the age of 50. If you want to know his background, you could start by reading them.
If you can.
9/29/2008 5:23:15 PM
Yeah, it's not like he's written two best-selling autobiographical books, or anything. Totally a mystery. Hatched from nowhere a year and a half ago.
9/29/2008 5:56:39 PM
Sarah Palin has stated, publically, that she believes Jesus is returning within our lifetimes.
A woman like that might try to "hasten" the Battle of Armageddon if she were in charge of the nation's nuclear arsenal.
9/29/2008 6:16:04 PM
It seems like some people have forgotten about McCain entirely. All I ever hear is people going on and on about Palin and Obama.
9/29/2008 6:22:02 PM
How DO people this breathtakingly stupid find food?
9/29/2008 6:24:07 PM
