I can promise you that these 'ghosts' are of a demonic nature. My husband was in a satanic occult for many years before we met. He did not go in willingly but was pulled in by demonic power as a young child. There are NO ghosts that are not demon based. Demons take on other forms such as ghosts to 'fool' people into thinking they are harmless and pull them into their evil realm. At times, they would even take the form of his deceased mother to try and control him even after he became saved. Why? If they came in their 'normal' evil form, you would have your guard up. If they come as a loved one that is gone, you so want it to be true that you are more 'open' to them.
There is a town here in Arkansas. I don't know if I'm allowed to say the name so I won't. In past years, they have had certain very old motels that had 'historical ghosts'. They used this as a draw to get the public in. My husband knew about some of these 'ghosts' and they were demonic beings posing. In recent years, they have started having ghost tours that the entire town promotes. It pulls in revenue. While they are pulling in the tourist, this town has a VERY LARGE satanic occult working underground. Tourists that are 'ghost hunting' are open prey.
I could tell you much more but you get the picture. There is NOTHING harmless about ghosts or demons. Take it from someone who has went toe to toe with them in a spiritual battle. The 'not really having a demonic sense' is just a cover to trap people.

For things that are so bloody powerful, demons sure do go through an awful lot of trouble to get shit done. I mean, honestly, in a bet between a demon and the "guards" of a human, no matter how religious, I'm putting money on the demon.
Wow... Where to start? Based on the fact that you don't know the difference between a cult and occult makes me suspect you are Lying For Jesus (tm). Based on the fact that you're convinced that people are being victimized by "demons" posing as ghosts, I suspect you're also batshit insane. And then there's the issue of your grammar...
Christians just love their little fantasy world, where they are warriors in service to a great king (God). They fight enemies thousands of times more powerful than they are: evil, demons, and even Satan himself. They go "toe to toe" with them and prevail because they have Truth and Justice on their side. It is all very 'Don Quixote'-esque.
I bet this "spiritual battle" was just sopo yelling "DEMONS GET OUT!" inside of an old empty house.
I can promise you that these 'colorful characters' are of a sociopathic nature. My wife was in a supervillian team for many years before we met. She did not go in willingly but was pulled in by threats from Steel Wolf (one of Stalin's many clones, you'll recall). There are NO supervillains that are not just common criminals. Supervillains take on other forms such as mischevious 'Clown Princes of Crime' to 'fool' people into thinking they are harmless and pull them into their evil realm. At times, there was one super-creep who would even take the form of her deceased mother to try and control her even after she'd joined the Justice League of Society. Why? If they came in their 'normal' evil form, you would have your guard up. If they come as a loved one that is gone, you so want it to be true that you are more 'open' to them.
There is a town here in Arkansas. I don't know if I'm allowed to say the name so I won't. In past years, they have had certain very old motels that had 'Professor Darkness slept here' and such as selling points. They used this as a draw to get the public in. My wife knew about some of these 'colorful rogues' and they were violent felons posing. In recent years, they have started having Rogue's Gallery tours that the entire town promotes. It pulls in revenue. While they are pulling in the tourist, this town has a VERY LARGE network of costumed fascists controlled by a giant disembodied head working underground. Tourists that are 'rogue hunting' are open prey.
I could tell you much more but you get the picture. There is NOTHING harmless about costumed criminals. Take it from someone who has went toe to toe with them in super-powered battles. The 'ruffian with a heart of gold' is just a cover to trap people.

(It's just something that I've been thinking about while reading these various Fundies' posts about their "spiritual battles" with demons. They seem to think that "through the blood of Jesus" they have actual powers to command spiritual forces, heal the sick, etc...I really don't see this as being too far removed from the sort of power fantasies found in comic books...)
You probably never went toe to toe with demons. Don't you know you have to face them naked in the middle of the town square armed with just a crucifix and dancing to a Gregorian chant?
All the best demon fighting manuals emphasize this.
She's talking about the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I've been on one of these "demonic" hotel history/ghost tours. It has an interesting history, but is neither demonic nor ghostly. She'd have to be pretty scared of EVERYTHING to feel like she was "open prey." I'm sure it's due to the same wild imagination that makes her such a great little fundie.
Ever notice how fundies love blaming "Satanic Cults" for everything bad? Or how they so often claim they were a member of one? Makes me wonder how often it is that when one says "I was once a member of a satanic cult" what they really mean is "I used to be a (insert christian sect here) but now I'm a member of (insert different christian sect here)."
Regardless, it's another post that falls under the heading of "SCC."
Satanic
Cult
Conspiracy
I love how all of these people are either ex-cult members or ex-wiccans or know someone who is. They make up the most unbelievable, outrageous things about cults that are obviously untrue. It's like back in the 80s when they were telling us that there is a worldwide network of Satanists that want to molest our children while they're at daycare. God! Fucking grow up.
Demons take on other forms such as ghosts to 'fool' people into thinking they are harmless and pull them into their evil realm.
How do you know Jesus wasn't a demon, then? Or your god?
the thing about these people is, the more you try to tell them that this shit doesn't exist, the more they'll tell you that you're just being fooled by the devil. they've built up their logic in such a way that the more rational you are with them, the more they're able to deny reality.
I think that Sopo is talking about Eureka Springs. They have a tourist trappy haunted old hotel. As for "they are pulling in the tourist, this town has a VERY LARGE satanic occult working underground" I don't know about all that but they do have a giant concrete Jesus on top of one of the larger hills. Kinda strange thing to have for a town apperently controlled by a satanic cult.
Lady, I am so glad that you and your husband found each other so we can at least keep your stupid genes concentrated in one family.
Is there any documentation of your "toe to toe" battle with these demons? Any video? And evidence at all of anything supernatural anywhere at anytime? No? Then please stfu.
I don't know which is scarier: that people like "Sopo" are Lying for Jeebus(tm), or that they've actually deluded themselves into thinking they're former Satanists because, say, they used to listen to Iron Maiden.
Normal people read fantasy and science fiction books, or play Dungeons & Dragons to get this kind of stuff out of our system. The poor fundies have denied themselves these sensible releases, so instead they have to believe in "spiritual warfare."
Really. It's just D&D for fundies.
I'm not afraid to say it.
The Cresent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
If posting this summons demons I'll be sure to point them in your direction.
A satanic, occult...what? "Occult" is an adjective, dumbass. You need a noun.
Also, I don't know what you're taking, but I don't think I want any. Any drug that makes the user see demons around every corner does NOT belong in my body!

It's also not too far removed from the sort of abilities that Clerics have in the Dungeons & Dragons game.
Take it from someone who has went toe to toe with them in a spiritual battle.
The whole quote was already a fail, but this just made it even worse.
"My husband was in a satanic occult for many years before we met... this town has a VERY LARGE satanic occult working underground."
Yeah, orgasming from religious euphoria is a perfect state of the mind to make unbiased, objective observations.
Confused?
