Because, dear Baltimore, no matter how often or how loudly you fundies may proclaim otherwise, evolution isn't a religion.
Still, though, it's somewhat refreshing to note that you at least remembered that Christianity is a religion.

"If Christians do not have the right to bring religion why would Athesist's have the right to bring evolution into the schools or government."
Because of proof?
Um... when has evolution ever been brought into the government??

It is also refreshing that you recognize that others have rights as well.
So, kudos to you.

Evolution is a science.
Religion tends to imply belief in magical beings, with no proof whatsoever to support your claims.
One belongs in a schoolbook, one does not.
Also, the vote of the people is not always correct. In fact, our government has systems in place to overthrow the majority vote when the majority vote for something harmful or discriminatory.

Idiot. Many Christians quite easily accept evolution. The Bible is far from being inerrant and the final word on anything. Catholics, and many other believers take is tales of creation as being allegorical. It is an eminently sensible thing to do as it takes away the need to believe 10 impossible things before breakfast every day. But Catholics and Anglicans do tend to be better educated than fundies.

"If Christians do not have the right to bring religion why would Athesist's have the right to bring evolution into the schools or government. "
The same thing that gives us the right to bring Newtons theory of gravity into physics classes. The same thing that allows us to bring poetry into English classes. The same thing that allows us to bring Gödel's incompleteness theorem into maths classes. The same thing that allows us to bring the theory of the atom into chemistry classes.
And so on and so on ad nausea.

How is Christianity banned from being taught in schools? Do you not have RE lessons in America?
I'm baffled as to how exactly evolution is 'brought into government'.

Atheism =/= Evolution
Although once one understands evolution it certainly leads you to question biblical accounts. That is what is so threatening. These nut jobs don't want evolution taught because all that rationality undermines their brainwashing.

"If Christians do not have the right to bring religion why would Athesist's have the right to bring evolution into the schools or government."
Yeah, or math. Or physics. Or chemistry. Why do those atheists get to teach all those different religions and you poor Christians can't teach yours?
Look buddy, one is science and the other is Bronze Age bullshit. The only place you're going to get your superstition taught is in a comparative religion class and then it'll be treated just like all the other religions.
"Face it I'm not happy about what is going on in the Government now, but I am subject to the vote of the people. We all have to be a part of something we don't always want. That's America."
I'm not sure that reads quite how you wanted it to. Or maybe it does...

Because evolution is secular. Nothing in the curriculum about evolution says 'there is no god'. It just says what scientists have logically concluded given all the evidence.
"We all have to be a part of something we don't always want. That's America."
Yes, and whether you believe it or not, atheism and evolution are separate ideas, and we're going to teach evolution until it is shown to be false.

Because, you inbred moron, Evolution is a scientific theory, and it's not being advocated by Atheists, but by scientists.
Have a nice whatever.

As with all these moronic rants, replace "evolution" with any of area of science, suh as gravity, atomic theory etc, and you'll see how stupid this is. Unfortunately, I doubt Baltimore would get it.

Evolution isn't brought into schools by atheists. None of the people who have brought suits to stop the teaching of religion have been atheists. The law forbids public schools to teach religion. There's no Constitutional ban against teaching science. And the "evolution is religion" argument was already tried. It was shot down in District Court and the Supreme Court refused to review the matter. So it's been a dead argument for decades.

evolution is a product of science, which is why it is taught in a science class room.
Christianity has no science to back it up. Which is why it should be taught in theological history and mythology classes.
