I CAN show God touched the earth at creation becaus eI have HIS account. HE was there and neither you nor your scientists were. And since He is incapable of lying, I'll go with Him... The evidence very much DOES agree with creation when you view it with the correct presupposition (not yours)...

They're both works of fiction.

If you start with a presupposition and try to find evidence to fit it, ignoring anything that does not, it will look to you as if the evidence agrees with your presupposition. Especially if you really, really want it to.
Incapable of lying? One of the first things God ever told humans was a lie -- he told Adam and Eve that if they ate the fruit of the Tree of Life, they would surely die that very die.
They ate it, they didn't die. God lied, right off the bat.
Now, most Christians with the intellectual capability to think about scripture beyond "literally true! literally true!" would argue God was speaking metaphorically, or that the entire creation story is a metaphor itself, but since you're undoubtedly from the fundamentalist crowd that insists it's all 100% true -- by your own rules, God lied.
