[dicussing weather Obama would ban RR]
God wouldn't allow him or anyone else to shut this place down...I rely on this place...God wouldn't take that away from me...

I'm sure Obama has better things to do then ban your stupid little nuthouse even if he was so inclined, which I doubt very much.
OMG cyvr, that would be awesome, I seldom wish 4chan on anybody, but that would be screamingly hilarious.
Yes, Obama's priority list is as follows:
1. Fix the economy
2. Fix the damage done by the Iraq War
3. End the fundamentalist fascism started by Bush
4. Close down a small little website of batshit insane retards.
"I rely on this place...God wouldn't take that away from me..."
Someone hasn't been alive long enough to see injustice yet, have they? Anyway...why would Obama take away a website? Paranoid as ever...
@Thammuz: "DDOS that site right now!"
@Sanity: "So, does this motivate anyone else for a nice DDOS?"
Wait until shortly after Obama is sworn in and he's had time to "get down to business."
;)
Wow. Talk about paranoid. I doubt very much that Obama's even heard of your pathetic death cult.
Palin, on the other hand, is probably a member.
Wow. You actually think as President he would be concerned with an internet message board? LMAO!
"I rely on this place." We do, too. It provides much humor.
I hate to break this to you cbressler1976, but there is no god. There are, however, far too many morons.
No, the First Amendment is what will keep him from shutting it down.
If he even knew it existed and was so inclined.
Why would he care? You're idiots.
However if I was president, I'd put about 20 F.B.I computer experts on it and start a study of the Bible belt preachers. There's common stupidity here that has a source. Hate-mongeling profit-theocracy wishing criminals that need to be dealt with.
Usually, once identified they can usually be put away on larceny or tax-evation or worse
The government will not ban it...unless you people are proven to be a dangerous death cult, then they would have no choice but to stop you before you do any harm to others.
Plus, it is the Internets. I don't think they really care...unless you are talking Oprah.
I'm surprised nobody brought this up yet...
Has this person seriously not read Job? Or the bits where Jesus says that those who want to follow him will have to give up everything else?
I'm pretty sure that becoming dependent upon a message board is not God's idea of a good plan, and He's not going to move heaven and earth just because you don't want to have to actually talk to anyone face-to-face.
To: Everone wanting to DoS or spam or /i/nvade the Rapture Retards
One thing that would scare them off, not that I am encouraging the action, I'm just brainstorming here, would be to spam their forums with that little phrase "We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget." Since they actally belive that demons exist...and since Legion was the name of a demon...well...
Like I said, I'm not telling anyone to do this...but it would be funny.
Cbressler, meet the real world, in which your piddly little site has no significance. Real world, cbressler.
So God would allow Obama to murder billions of babies, make gay sex mandatory and suicide-bomb the White House (your accusations, not mine), but not to shut down a website?
"God wouldn't allow him or anyone else to shut this place down"
Okay, who else read that and thought "DDOS attack?"
Edit: I guess a bunch of people.
And, yes, Anon would scare the shit out of these people. They seem to have a mindset similar to the scientologists, and the scilons were cooking up 'evil nazi cia fbi psychiatrist conspiracy' theories back when the real anonymous was pulling off huge DDOS attacks, black faxes, and the like.
Has this person seriously not read Job? Or the bits where Jesus says that those who want to follow him will have to give up everything else?
Every fundamentalist I have met is quite the materialist, and militantly against interpreting that bit about Jesus' followers being poor, or the parts in Acts where they basically live in a commune and practice communism. I've been told "Jesus only meant that THAT YOUNG MAN become poor, because He knew that young man NEEDED to give up his money to become holy. It doesn't mean anyone else does." It was really amazing, to see that someone who had to have been at least 30 years old show such a stupid or dishonest outlook on life. (I don't know which it was, and I don't care)
OMFG!!! Yuo sad and pathetic raptard. If that dumb-ass forum, (where I was banned for trying to post as Rev. Ben Dover) is all that you rely on, and you believe God wouldn't shut it down for that reason, you need mental help. Screw the homeless and poor and the people in Darfur, this dirtbag needs his daily dose of Raptard Ready...
Someone should put a post there as Obama. Something like, "Hey folks, Barack here. I just want you to know that I have no plans to ban Rapture Ready. I've been monitoring this site for a long time. It's a great source of information. Don't worry. I won't use any of this information for 'The Great Round Up'. The Round Up information will come from the GPS chips in your bibles. Love, Barack. PS Hail Satan!"
Oh good sir, it's not the god who is taking the place away from you.
It's the Anons and their Ion Cannons.
Funny how long this right-wing political scare tactic has been used on the fundie rubes. I just finished reading a book on the election of 1800 which refers to a Federalist's broadside that tells religious people that they will have to "hide their Bibles if that atheist Jefferson is elected". We all know that Bibles have been outlawed in this country since 1800, don't we? Same shit, different day.
The RR thread this comes from is excellent as well:
"Hopefully you will be gone by then"...if you didn't add the rest of it...and someone who didn't know about the rapture happened to come across this...they would all think we were an occult ready to kill ourselves! lol...
well, once more, a fundie *almost* manages connecting his two neurons together.
God allows 25,000 people to die every day from hunger related causes. 2 million children a year die from pneumonia and other chest infections (easily treatable with antibiotics). 1.6 million people, mostly kids, die from diarrhoeal diseases anually. The treatment for diarrhoea? Water with sugar and salt dissolved in it.
1.5 million die from TB per year. Vaccines are available for measles, whooping cough tetanus, and diphtheria, yet these diseases kill nearly a million people (again, mostly children) a year. 1 million a year die from malaria, and many more are seriously disabled. These are people who are someone's mother, someone's husband, someone's child.
God lets all this happen, yet you have such a narrow minded, self-centred view of God that you think he wouldn't allow anyone to shut down a freaking website that you've made yourself emotionally dependent on?
Predictions:
1) Obama wins in a landslide
2) After a week RR is still up because Obama not only has never heard of it but doesn't give a flying fuck
3) cbressler claims that the fact the site is still up is proof that god has protected them from the evil Obama
RR is kind of obscure, anyway. Most people have never heard of it.
I'm sorry, my little Rapture cultists, but you're really just not that important. I know, it's an affront to your self-important natures, but it's true.
Hey! I almost made a 5!! Come on guys....you can rate me better then 4.75!! By the way, I was commenting on someone's thread that talked about Obama's Admin. shutting down RR..(sorry all! I see that he put discussing Obama shutting down RR).. and yes, I believe that God wouldn't allow it.... :)
Oh, and I'm sure you all aren't as hateful as you seem in these posts!!
"Oh, and I'm sure you all aren't as hateful as you seem in these posts!!"
We're not. We just use all our hate on you so that we can be nice to everyone else.
Translation "I wants my teddy bear..."
Obama is probably completely unaware about the RR site. He has more pressing issues to deal with. Like a war in Iraq, oil-leakage in the Gulf, Hurricane Earl on it's way to the east coast, etc.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
