I even told one guy "Jesus IS allah" ...meaning God as you understand him to be...is Jesus. I see hatred. That's what islam is all about isn't it?

I'm a blonde blue-eyed woman and I used to live in a house with my Muslim landlady. From that experience, as far as I can tell Islam is mostly about no bacon, snarking on women who totally cover up instead of just wearing a headscarf (in England) as being pretentious and showing off about how Muslim they are, and everybody feeding the pet infidel (me) during Ramadan.

(I didn't particularly stare him in eyes with a chilly gaze - just normally and compassionately, thank you very much - and I certainly didn't try to tower above him fear-imposingly, which would have been pretty tricky anyway.) They like it! I see respect and peaceful coexistence. Isn't this what having different opinions and beliefs is supposed to be about? You know, taking the first step yourself and not bothering anyone with your differing point of view?

Muslims don't believe that (neither do Jews), but they have nothing against Jesus. He's considered one of the prophets. They believe in his virgin birth and his resurrection, too; and even believe he will return to earth to vanquish the Antichrist. Their attitude toward fundie Christians getting in their faces is another matter.
