No I don't know anyone who professes to be an atheist.
I don't know anyone who professes to be a bigoted redneck, either, but I've heard they exist.

Educated beyond my intelligence?
Is that like writing beyond the end of a hard drive?
"Well it's a 80GB disk, but we've got 145GB on there, so it may be a little slow"

"No I don't know anyone who professes to be an atheist."
Yet, apparently, that doesn't slow you down in the slightest from having an opinion about them and pontificating upon it to the rest of the world.
Next time, why don't you try to wait until you've learned SOMETHING about a given group of people before you make up your mind about them.

"educated beyond their intelligence" what in the hell is that supposed to mean? I don't think I can even comprehend the amount of ignorance and complete lack of logic it takes to say something so stupid.

Most atheists have been educated beyond your intelligence. Not beyond theirs however.

Is that even possible?

You make no sense. How can someone be educated beyond their intelligence? And chances are you know at least one person who is an atheist, but they just don't want to hear you wail and preach to them about being blinded, led astray, whatever.

@John.
Hole in one.
I was a dedicated christian for the first 51 years of my life. I have now been a atheist for 23 years.
And "faith", I am an acknowledged theologian and translator.
It is YOU who that is deluded by a fake religion.

Educated beyond their intelligence? Is this possible?
The final sentence says it all. No personal experience. This makes dross of the posting.

"Atheism is the false and very foolish belief that there is no God"
Matthew 5:22 : "That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire."

The only definition of educated beyond one's intelligence that I can think of is some fundie moron with an IQ of 40 being granted a PhD by some diploma mill. However, that isn't exactly education, is it?
I'm also stumped. However, if by by easy is still looking for a professed atheist, look no further. As my username might lead even a fundie to understand, I am indeed an atheist.
